A little out of the way but a nice hotel

the hotel is a little out of the way. we were only staying the 1 night and needed a comfortable base from which to explore.
we didn't eat in the hotel as there are plenty of good, local restaurants surrounding the hotel outside or you can eat inside the attached shopping centre.

We stayed in a superior room which was very spacious for Hong
Kong, view from window not that pretty though. The location
makes up for this with its many food outlets and shopping street markets. All travel is in very easy reach with the MTR right under the building, a bit noisy at night but you sleep
through it ok. The Mongkok area is extremely busy in peak hour
so expect to walk very slowly. All in all a welcome pleasant stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Try eating at least once in the Shopping Mall Plaza Bakery downstairs, top food at a good price. Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Lovely hotel with family suite that is able to accommodate 3 adults and 1 toddler. Decoration a bit outdated though but overall room facilities are still fine.
Shopping Tip:
Good location for those that love shopping at mongkok area ( eg, Fa Yuen St, Ladies market etc ). Can get a lot of cheap stuffs.

i thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. i have a disability and while the bathroom was not ideal the supervisor, peter lo went to a lot of trouble to make it safe and workable for me. it would be good for the hotels in hk to have some rooms with bathrooms where a person could walk into the shower and have wall rails to hang onto within the shower recess.
Shopping Tip:
Shuttle buses are good for those who can access the bus. The station under the hotel is convenient for traveling to Shim Sha Sui.The hotel was accessible to a large shopping mall where different food can be tried and for good shopping.

Ok Location Ok Room

I was mislead by the review that the hotel is located right on top of the Mongkok MTR station. It is the Mongkok EAST station and not the Mongkok station! This makes hell of a lot difference!! Check out the map. A lot of wasted energy and strength to walk from the hotel to the Mongkok station.
The room given to me was located right at the end of the long corridor! The bathroom definitely needs a face lift, the door knob to the safe box was gone, the TV channels were limited, cable was showing nothing but soccer matches...and i certainly didn't go all the way there to watch soccer.
In conclusion, i feel that i could have spent the same dollars in a more beautiful, comfortable hotel with better location.
