the hotel is located at mong kok, a great shopping area. besides, it's easier to look for food and it's cheaper. we walked to mong kok to take mtr although there is a nearest station in the next building.
the staff are very helpful. they showed us map and gave clear guidance to all destinations. they are walking map.
most importantly, there is free shuttle bus take us from airport express station (kowloon) to hotel. alternatively, hotel also provide free shuttle bus service to tsim tsai jui. it is very convenient.
Restaurant Tip:
A must try food - the home-made dumpling rice sold at the food court in Grand Century place. It's really nice.

Great Hotel with excellent rooms
Location was very good. Easy to get around with many shops avaiable

We enjoyed the rooms alot. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hong Kong. We would certainlt stay there again. Thanks alot

It was cold and the hotel was cold both in the rooms and open areas. It was necessary to wear a sweater or shiver !
Rooms very nice, location great, right on MTR and mall with street markets close by.
Food was expensive and not very special, we ate out in the mall or at nearby restaurents. A 5 minute walk found a new place to eat on a daily basis.
Not a 5 star hotel in our view but a good 3 or near miss for a 4 star

Hotel with Good service and location

We have 3 night in royal plaza hotel with families and kids. Found this hotel with great location. Very easy access to MRT and all the restaurants around. Some are walking distance to places like ladies night market and hong kong restaurant. This hotel provide good services and security too. They checked our room number whenever we go up to our hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel room need to be renovated to get the new fresh look as some of the wall painting looks old.

hotel well located near colourful local markets and within a modern shopping mall. close to mtr for easy access to hk island. i stayed in executive room and found the facilites excellent: staff were courteous and helpful. lounge facilites of food and ambience were good. the gym was clean with attentive staff. laundry service was fine.

the room in clean, go to places such as agryle street, bute street, "fa yuen" street, sport shoese street, Nui yan street. are all just nearby. just a few minutes walk from the hotel. and below was the shopping center connecting to the hotel. food and everything, including shopping is there.

located at the mongkok east mtr stn & only 15 mins walk to ladies market. room is very spacious with a queen + single bed. bathroom is clean, bed is firm, sheets are clean too.

The stay is SUPERB. This is our second time to stay in Royal Plaza and will definitely stay there again for our next visit.
I love the proximity to the Grand Central and MTR Stations particularly Mongkok, East Mongkok and Prince Edwards Stations.
Love the fastfood in the 5th level Urban Dining in Grand Central.
The Hotel Staff are very accommodating and nice. Though the Wi-fi access is not free :-(
