The hotel has good service & the room is spacious.
It is located next to a shopping mall & the train station,

the stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience. i find the room spacious. situated next to a shopping mall is good as i can get my things whenever i need. however as the train station is at mongkok east station, its a bit inconvenient to change trains to get to other stations. that needs a little getting used to. other than that i feel that i will consider staying at this hotel again on the next trip.

Definitely not up to 5 star standard

The front desk staff requested us to pay for guarantee upon check-in, unless we want to pay by credit card and the fund would be held up for 14 days. We requested this 14 days release procedure and was simply advised that the bank suggested them to do so. Would you expect the int'l hotel chain like the Hilton or Accor Hotel group to give you such request? The hotel is near Grand Century Shopping mall, there is no need to book b'fast since Cafe De Coral next door has perfect Hong Kong Style b'fast that you have to go and experience, for a proper coffee you can always go for Pacific Coffee which is on level two of the mall. At night you can hear "boom boom, boom boom" from train track underneath the building. The decor of the hotel is really dated. Mong Kok is overly crowded, I probably would not stay in the hotel again.
Shopping Tip:
For a quiet shopping mall experience go to Elements located on top of the Kowloon Station.

Good Location, services and free shuttle bus. Convenient to everywhere, nearest MRT just 1 min and 5 min to famous street as mongkok, woman street and etc..

dated 4/5 star but room is nice and clean. location is the winning point. walking distance to ladies market, shopping and local foods. otherwise, public transport is just outside hotel for you to get anywhere in hk. overall is a good hotel for the money i paid for.
no free internet at all including lobby/business centre.
Restaurant Tip:
Good Chinese restaurant on Level 2 of the Hotel with 30% off for hotel guests.

great location
clean and spacious room, close and easy access to mtr

Room was clean, large enough to accomodate 4 adults, so space was absolutely no issue for our family with two children. If you are a family with 2 children or 4 adults, do ask for a twin bed because the width is 120cm each compared to one double bed of 160mm width.
Hotel is attached to a shopping mall, so one need not to travel far for shopping

Very nice hotel
The rooms were large with well appointed amenities.The staff were efficient,helpful and friendly.

overall our stay was very pleasent and i would recomend my friends to stay at the royal plaza (h.k.).its located at mong kok(ladies street,flower street,bird street)and a host of eateries.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is attatched to a big shopping mall with lots of good quality resturants.

Great location and room ok size.
Located inside the shopping centre and MTR.

we arrived at the hotel around 5pm and my room not ready for check in and we not happy about it. we like the llocation of the hotel right inside the shopping centre and mtr make it easy for us to shopping and travel around hong kong. the hotel room are ok

The rooms is relatively big, compared to the rooms other hotels in HK provides. It is link to a shopping centre and there is one MTR line just next to it. If you walk further down, there is another. Lots of food and shopping available down the street, just a short 5 to 10 minutes walk. I will definitely be back to stay at this hotel should i visit HK again!
