Great value hotel
Fantastic breakfast buffet, amazing gym and pool, staff excellent

We were upgraded so this was a lovely surprise. the quality of the breakfast buffet was outstanding and had plenty of choice for the hungray teenager and set us up entirely. Really close to the MRT and shopping centre the rooms also had a DVD player and pay per view movies which worked well for the tennager as well. The sym and swimming complex was fantastic they even had a bathers spin dry facility amazing for travellers you did not have to worry about wet bathers for travellimng - loved this hotel.

The receptionist is slow in progressing when we check in. We were arrived earlier, about 12.30pm. We were asked to return to hotel for check in after 2.30pm. Ther is a good location for shopping(because the hotel is attached to the shopping mall) MTR, bus station. Very convenient location. After check in, i found the bathroom is a bit small, generally the room is okay. I got a pool view room, the hotel is quite old, the carpet is old, the light switch in my room sometimes did not work well. Free internet access.

Old hotel with a modern touch

We stayed in this hotel for our holiday with family members. We booked a few rooms here and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a little old and needs some renovating but they have great room service menu. The hotel is also next to the mall which has many good restaurants. There is a subway station under the mall so traveling to other parts of the town is simple. Love our stay!

good location for those who really wanted to rest

he hotel is very spacious, comfortable and has a range of dining options - though we only had breakfast which was really nice. The unusual outdoor swimming pool is a medium size and in a very attractive terrace setting. The service was excellent throughout the hotel.

Location is good, direct connect to shopping centre and its near to mrt station. hotel staff are friendly and can speak english. will stay again if i visit to hongkong.

I enjoyed my stay in Royal Plaza. Though it is little farther located from market and business place, but it is value for money in terms of room size, price and food, specially breakfast.

Room is clean, but there was no razor..
Location is quite good, but if you want to go to chim sa choi or central, you have to walk to mongkok station first..

The room is wide, comfortable, clean, smell good. The staff can speak english very well and very helpfull. The security is good, you have to use your room key card for using the lift. The hotel is located close to MTR station(Mongkok east) exit D.
Shopping Tip:
royal plaza hotel is closed to the shopping plaza and food court.

Big rooms!

The room is big, real big. Very nice, and if there can be more local tv channels even better, quite disappointed that there were only 4... Not on the "main" MTR line like to TST, Central etc, but only 10mins walking distance to Mongkok, there's a direct exit link from Mongkok. The gym and swimming pool are very nice, but too bad, no time to use the facilities. Excellent customer service with tight security that made us feel very welcome and safe.
