The standard hotel rooms are well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately, unbelievably noise rooms. We’ve been on the 10th floor and every few minutes the sound of tracking train interrupted your night rest. The whole room was shaking. Hotel staff are kind and cooperative.
Chinese restaurant on the first floor has good quality Asian cuisine and good variety of wine.
The Hotelis exellent located and is recommendable for shopping sightseeing and night.

we were supposed to get the double room and they said hadn't any of those left so they upgraded us to deluxe, which looked the same as the double room in the pictures online, in fact it was a lot smaller than it seemed from the pictures

the location was very bad for us, we had to take taxi to get everywhere we wanted to go because we were not interested in the nearby markets, the last stay we had in hong kong we stayed at nathan road which was very convenient but this hotel we felt was not as good
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
don't go to ocean park because it is very expensive for the few attractions they provide and the show was the same as the one we watched thirty years ago which means that they haven't really improved much

Royal Plaza Hotel lives up to its raving reviews
5 star hotel at unbelievably bargain rates, excellent location that connects Mong Kok East MTR and walking distance to Mong kok and Prince Edward station. Staff service was pleasant.

I would stay in the same hotel the next time I visit HK. That pretty much sums up my satisfaction level of Royal Plaza.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bubble tea shop right outside Prince Edward MTR exit B is fabulous. So was the street stall selling pancake next to it.

It is our second time to stay in this hotel. We didn't go to hotel restaurant because there are many good restaurants around area. I really enjoy the features the hotel provids.

Hotel clean and comfortable in great location. Hotel is attached to big shopping mall and train stations so it is easy to shop and get around the city. Also close to good markets. Staff could have been a little friendlier. They seemed keen on pushing extra sales e.g. internet packages, breakfast etc. Messages left on answering machine and tv inviting me for breakfast with the sales team were a little irritating!
Restaurant Tip:
You can eat breakfast in a cafe in the attached shopping centre for a fraction of the price of the hotel breakfast.
