Centralized shopping location for family
center of kowlloon, near all shops that kowloon people would shop
8.3
Generally speaking I was satisfied with my stay. It was conveniently located in MTR and other transportation. The hotel is inside a shopping complex itself

We had a great week at The Royal Plaza Hotel. Everything you need is very near. At side entrance is the buses and taxis terminus. Two train stations are nearby, one a two minute walk , anoter a five minute walk. The rooms are really nice and the hotel looks in general very luxurious.Could not find a bad word to say .

good central place, but no free wifi
central to all of kowloon and within walking distance to a lot of shopping, eating, etc.
7.7
The pool closes too early. The gym opens up early which I like. I like that it is central to all of Kowloon, but hate that it is still quite a walk to the metro even though it is situated pretty much above the metro.
All in all great place, but free wifi would have definitely made this a top spot for me.

Royal Plaza Hotel
Hotel is connected to shoppin mall and Mong Kok east station....very convenient to get around. Great healt club
8.7
Overall very excellent staff and decent location. Good value for money from Agoda. We stayed in the executive club level and it was one of the better executive clubs I've experienced. The staff was available and kept my drink filled, the food was good and they had decent hours for breakfast, tea, and dinner. While Mong Kok east required a transfer or two extra to reach popular destinations, it wasn't too inconvenient and having the station connected to the hotel made it nice, especially in the summer heat. Next time I'd probably stay near Central Sta or Tsim Sha Tsui Sta.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nathan road for tailors, Central Station for nightlife

Really nice hotel but out of the way
Top quality hotel at a reasonable price
6.7
I have stayed here a couple of times and find it to be the best value for money top quality hotel in HK. However - the reason for that is simply that it is located quite some way out of the main shopping and business districts of Kowloon (and of course also from HK island. I stayed there this time because I thought I could simply jump onto a train (the Mong Kok station is right beside the hotel) and travel into mainland China from there. Error! You have to travel back into Kowloon on the train and then board the intercity and travel right back where you have just come from - this time without stopping at Mong Kok. Only adds about 30 mins to the trip but when you are getting a 7:30 am train it's a bit of a bind!
It can get a bit expensive using taxi's in and out of Kowloon to here - so the lower hotel cost has a penalty! The flower marketetc are pretty near by so if you already know Kowloon and just want a decent hotel, a quick browse in a local market, then this hotel is great. Pool is a bit tiny!
