Good Location and Great Customer Service
Best features were the newly renovated rooms. The bathroom was really stylish and big. They provided a cot for free and the location was great to get around. The hotel was located in a central position, great for eating and shopping.

the la scala buffet restaurant was excellent, the food was great and the price was good. there was a big variety of cuisines on offer. overall, very comfortable, staff were helpful and attentive and housekeeping was timely and friendly.

Nice Standard Hotel

Great Location, very close to MTR Station and Shopping Mall. Room was Nice, everything is just great considered the price. The Hotel is under renovation right now, but everything was just great.

I booked this hotel because of the good discount. Please note that there is major renovation going at the hotel and it's noisy. The pool is closed as well. Breakfast is not included, I paid for it's seprately, and it's really nice. The area is very busy and authentic, 5-10 mins by taxi from the harbour. Overall, the hotel is fine and the rooms are quite spacious, but don't expect much. Was perfect for me as was looking for something not too expensive as a base to explore the city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit Birds Garden and Flowers market which are just across the road from the hotel

This is a Hotel that has everything you are looking for in a Hotel...location, accessibility (to MTR, taxis, shopping places, food/restaurants (whether on street or malls), big enough room, complete amenities in and out of the room, friendly staff, food is great...darn, the Hotel should be paying me for this endorsement...lol...but all of these are true..seriously...
The price we got is also excellent...in fact I believe its too cheap for what we got even considering that a renovation is on-going. Probably why they decided to mark down the prices at the moment?...we got this Hotel before when it was on its normal prices and we were happy then...imagine that...

Not a good time to stay during renovation
close to MTR and shopping

Good location. Good service, bu not a good time to stay while renovation is in progress.
Was woken at 2am by the sound of loud drilling.
Alhough the room was non-smoking, the smell was present as soon as you walked into the room.

My family loved the spacious room and the nice view of the city on the 16th floor. The staff, especially the concierge, were truly helpful. Taxi cabs are always available, but shopping malls esp. the Ladies' Market are accessible by foot.
The hotel was undergoing renovation, and the odor of the paint was kind of strong at the hotel lobby. Otherwise, it did not bother us much since we did not hear any noise from the room where we stayed.
Shopping Tip:
The Ladies Market is a must-go if you are a bargain hunter, about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Try to survey the area first before making a purchase t see the best deal. For food, try dining at those plain-looking eateries coz they serve the best food, not the ones at the fancy malls.

service is excellent, brakefast is good (included), fast checkin, upgraded to family, very grand dining area serving
good food, good shopping area and is very convenient to move
around to mongkok and nathan road, will be back to this hotel on the next visit to kowloon.
Restaurant Tip:
must visit the dimsum restaurant in kwong wa street(tim huo wan) end of dundas street off nathan road, go around 9am or
2.30pm to take queue number(open at 10am till 930pm) only dimsum, must try the chaisuipow(not steam but bake) and the chicken feet.

Acceptable room but Hotel in renovation

looking at website, i did not know that the hotel is in renovation for long. arriving, we discovered that hotel is covered with white sheets for works. the attractive thing sending me to the booking was the swimming pool is also not available.the positive point is the friendly staff and that is. the noise in the corridor can be heard easily and you cannot have a good sleep.
