The hotel is located next to a small plaza (Grand Century Plaza), which is convenient to get food. They also provide shuttle buses to Price Edward MTR and Sun Arcade, Tsim Sha Tsui.
It's close by Mongkok East MTR, but for those who are traveling with kids and thinking of spending your time at Disneyland or Causeway Bay, you might want to think twice. They are so many train changes and the walk it's really far. It becomes inconvenient.
They are going through renovation, but it doesn't bother us.

One of the "best location" hotel in HK

great location: it's on top of a large shopping centre (not bad, although the mall is still under renovation at some places), it's on top of the east mongkok train station, it's just 10 mins walk to crowd center mongkok area.
clean & spacious: great for family of 4. we add one extra bed and it still have enough room to roam and put our 4 big luggages.
great facilities: swimming pool, free bus to airport express, tsim tsa shui, element mall. you can even get the discounted ticket to 101 sky (the tallest building in hk / no4 in the world that has an observation deck), some nice restaurants.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is near Ladies Market, great for budget shopping or electronic centre in Mongkok for gadget freak.

We're really lucky choose the right hotel. Royal Plaza has excellent staff member and the location is nearby both shopping center and local shopping site. Walking distance to MTR.

when me and my wife go to hong kong, we always stay in this hotel becausemost hotels of this class has small rooms. also the location of the hotel is great - it is right on top of the train station and a covered walkway to subway and buses. on this trip, they are under renovation and i hope they are not going to make the rooms smaller.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is located on a small hill in Mong Kok which is one of the business district in Hong Kong. There is a shopping mall right under the hotel and lots of restaurants and street vendors in walking distance.
