Nice location and nice hotel.
Got into a serviced apartment room, with kitchen facilities and nice sea view. Spacious.

Booked this room last-minute for one night for a reasonable price, but got into a serviced apartment room, the only pity thing is, coz its a serviced apartment, the accesoiries were not complete in the bathroom. Only provided toothbrush etc. so no haircomb for example. And I didnt bring any!

This hotel is a hidden gem. Looks fairly plain from the outside but inside all parts of the hotel are very nice and with good views particularly if you have a seaview room. It is out of the way ie not central at all but the free shuttle buses make up for that.

Far off location but next to a good beach
Good Beach, Attractive Price
6.7
Location is a bit far off, but a nice beach is just minutes walk away which is a scarcity in HK. The King size bed is not really King size, its even smaller then a queen size so could be a bit squeeze for two people to sleep on it. Other than that, everything is quite standard and the price tag is cheaper then same class hotels.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Near to a good beach!

Great hotel with almost brand new facilities
The swimming pool and the gym
8
the hotel it self is really great. it is hard to find a decent size swimming pool in the hotels in hong kong, but the one is royal view hotel is perfect. i went to the gym in daytime and it is almost no one there. how good is that!
i have stayed in many 3-4 stars hotels in hong kong, this one is the best in terms of facilities and size of the room. it gives me a feel like a studio at the first sight as it does provide a small sink at the living.
if you are lucky enough, you can see the ting kao bridge from the window. additionally, there is a small sand beach nearby.
the downside is the hotel doesn't provide free wifi which is unusual in hong kong. the location is a headache. it is in the middle of no where. although the hotel provide free shuttle buses, it is not enough, especially in the peak hours. it is ok if you are a shopaholic and go out early in the morning and return at night, as the taxi from tsui wan mrt is only hkd50 per trip.

Good sea views despite its remote location
Clean and nice room with good front managers
8.3
This hotel is actually not really close to the subway station. Even if the hotel offers free bus to the close station, you have to take a taxi if you don't want to wait for the bus. However, there are always incoming taxis and you do not need to wait or make a reservation for a ride.
It's location is not so convinent, yet, it has very nice sea view and close to the beach. If you are looking for a relaxing night defore departing Hong Kong, I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, good people, quite nice in-hotel restuarant, not too expensive compare to other hotels in Hong Kong.

Good environment but bad service
The environment and the building of the hotel
6
The hotel is located quite far from the city center. Luckily it's got shuttle bus going to Tsuen Wan MTR every 30 minutes. However, there are only 2 buses a day going to Tsim Sha Tsui. The girl in the reception when we checked in was very rude. However, another girl served us when we checked out was very polite. Staff service is generally alright as we did not see much staff at the time we stayed.
Travel tip:
You have to go down a long stairs from Tsuen Wan MTR station to the shuttle bus stop. So you better carry smaller size luggage.
