Nice Hotel location but not too good service

not too happy about the stay as the hotel was too localized in its choices of food. Room service was also for limited time.
no in-room break-fast service. Too far for any services and nothing in the walking distance.

This is the second time i stay in this hotel, it's still a good service, clean and tidy hotel.
I believe that i will visit there in the future.
The location is far away but the hotel provide free of charge shuttle bus service.

Shopping Tip:
Ask the concierge where to shop for specifif items. I got caught buying a computer, but the concierge could have recommmended somewhere

Such a great, perfect and quite view hotel!
The perfect bay view and really fresh air and the pool area.

my kids and i stayed at royal view hotel for 3 nights!and it was really a perfect vacation for all of us.with such a beautiful bay view!so thankful to "ice"the only front desk clerk that greets and serve us with a smile and thanks for upgrading us to a suite room with a perfect bay view!my kids were really jumping high when we got into the room!such a nice,very clean and quite hotel.and to top it all, even if this hotel is quite hidden from the big city in hk,you won't even have a hard time to get to anywhere you want cos they really provide the guest with free shuttle bus to get to the city in just a few minutes.i am really glad i chose this hotel cos my kids even wanting me to extend our stay because they really loved our room!what a great vacation we had at the royal view hotel.truly value for money with such a perfect place.we would really love to stay here again!
though ,one of the front desk clerk was very unfriendly and rude( the very thin and short guy with ugly teeth) when you ask for a wifi and very misinformed about their wifi rule and even their own rate in the lobby so,i had to show hes face the note i got beside the lobby computer but he still tried to play innocent about this matter.what a silly guy!.plus the wifi charge is too expensive.
but still i would like to recommend this hotel to my friends because this is really a nice hotel in hong kong.most of all,very easy to take the mtr to disneyland!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
very easy to get to anywhere you want because the hotel give the guest a free shuttle bus to the city in just a few minutes.and when you stop to shuan wan station just go upstairs and you'll find the mtr station to go where ever you wanna go in hk,

Good Hotel but "remote" location

All the amenities expected of a hotel of this standard, but there are no shops or restaurants nearby within walking distance. To reach shops and restaurants a 5 minute or 10 minute cab ride is required depending on which direction you travel. There is a beach below the hotel but to reach it requires going down a lot of steps so this would not be accessible to everyone. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful.

I love the location! The Staff is very friendly.
Corner room views, Front Office accomodation( though they can do better), Queueing for the free shuttle service, Gym, Kid's room among other places.

only problem is the language gap at times but over-all, things were just cool.
one thing left to be done also is to check their bathroom floor marble slab cover--at room 1027 where i was(we occupied 1027 & 1028), it was indeed very slimey & dirty... so that, when the water overflows, our feet is back to being dirty.. as in the drainage is clogged--during our stay from march 22-26, 2012, so i had a difficult time taking my showers. i requested someone from housekeeping to have it checked but in vain. perhaps, they were busy or the plumber wasn't available.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try the hotel gym--it works wonders after all that gastronomic delights! *smiles*

a bit out of the way, but quite comfortable.

Hotel is only accessible by taxi or hotel's shuttle bus which runs frequently to the subway and kowloon. But, last shuttle is around 11:30pm which limits how late you can stay out without having to take a taxi back. There's a nice beach that you can walk to.

-Nice room. The room is clean and staff is nice
-They helped me to upgrade sea-view free of charged which is totally unexpected
-Transportation there is nice. Have free coach to MTR station.
-Though it does not have any shopping mall nearby, it did give us a very nice, silent area to enjoy our holiday!

this is my first time stay in this hotel. my first impression when we arrived was wow this is nice. the room was spacious and clean. we got a room with view to the sea. so nice...the price is quite reasonable as well. and it's not far from the airport. but the closest mtr station is tsuen wan west which u should take a cab to reach there. the receptionist was not too friendly :( and the shower in my room got problem. you can't get warm water. so it's either too cold or too hot >_< the sent someone to fix it but didn't seem to work out.
