Value for money rooms but everyhting else is money
8.3
We really like the rooms as my GF and i checked into 2 rooms instead of 1. As we are well aware the rooms in Hong Kong can be quite small, but to our amaze, the room is good for 2 pax and BIG luggages. Though the hotel is located in New Territory, they provide free shuttle service to Tsuen Wan MTR and also the Elements and Tsim Sha Tsui. But then, everything in the hotel is $$. They charged for Internet connection, LAN or wireless, if you sit at the coffee lounge, you have to pay for at least a drink.

Fine quality hotel
Good location & good facility & good service
8
front desk staff was very nice to check-in quickly and offered a good service to us professionally. the hotel room itself was very nice, big, superior & clean. but the bed size was bit small. stayed here for business purpose and holiday. it was great wifi connection and free of charge, unlike other hotels. it was a good place with easy access to shatin mtr station, public transport and the new town shopping malls where provided lovely shops & luxury brands & various kinds of food. we would consider here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
shopping & transport tips : near shatin mtr station and easy access to kowloon and central in hk island.

One of the Calmest Hotel in Hong Kong
As spoken, the calm nearby environment, village and country feel nearby restaurants and places
7.7
i drove there and except the hotel parking, public parkings are nearby.
even though it was not a sunny days, or actually misty atmophere there, the scenery of the 180 degree seaview plus the misty tin kau bridge and tsing ma bridge would impress most of the traveller to hk not only for shopping.
rent a car and stated at this hotel for 3 days and take a ride of the new territaries would give you another impression of hong kong.
Nightlife Tip:
fair pay of drinking place at Sam Tseng which just 3 minutes journary by taxi.

Good enough for inexpensive overnight stay
In expensive and close to the airport
7.3
very cost effective lodging place.
could improve a lot, but just ok for an overnight rest.
nothing more, nothing less...
by the way, hotel did not offer airport transfer, thus, agoda, please check the fact and update the hotel description if necessary.

Spacious Room with a sea view
Shuttle Bus service to Tsuen Wan, Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui
7.7
we originally booked the superior room, but when we arrived, the staff said we could upgrade to deluxe sea view room without additional charges because booking for superior was already full.
so, we've got a seaview room with a cheap price! that was really great!
the hotel is far away from the city centre but free shuttle bus service was provided so it's not a problem actually.

Very lovely hotel at a good price
Very good value for money
8.7
The Royal View Hotel is out of town but the hotel has a free shuttle bus that will take you either to the MTR (Railway Station)in about 8 minutes or into Tsim Sha Shui (City Centre) in about 40 minutes. Due to being out of town, the price is extremely good. It is a lovely 4 star hotel that is relatively new and not 'tired' like some of the 4 star hotels in the city. It has a great feel about it. It is definitely good value for money. I have stayed in about half a dozen of the Hong Kong city hotels and a city hotel of the same standard would cost 2 -3 times the amount of the Royal View. I would highly recommend the hotel but remember you are out of town even to the extent of the nearest shops/ restaurant (except for the hotel restaurant) are 8 minutes away by free shuttle bus. We did not find it a hassle. We would buy our breakfast the night before and have it on our room in the morning and then we would be out and about all day and so eat in the city centre or wherever we happened to be and then head back to the hotel about 10.30 at night to sleep.

big rooms and nice view, however, bad location
7.3
the royal view hotel is a very nice hotel with big rooms, plenty of ammenities and nice bathroom. the service is good, they try to solve or arrange all the things that affect you. we were three people at the same room, and without space problems. the view from the room was perfect because it was possible to see the sea and big buildings of the area (better during the night because of the lights). however, the hotel is so far from the center of hk (kowloon, or hong kong island). you need at least 45 min from the hotel to the center. hence, with the aim to solve this problem, the hotel provides a free service of buses for getting the city center
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You should be aware of the bus schedule of the hotel, which is reliable and solve many logistic problems. It is possible to get the going and the back trip
