Great location with good view.

Arrived late at 2200h and had to leave for the airport the next morning at 0730h. The rooms were very well furnished and comfortable. Will come back again if there is a chance next time.

the room is just like my house, having the feeling of home and can look at the bight in very short distance. the view is excellent, especially at night. the living room and bedroom are very comfortable. it is worth to have another night in royal view hotel

the hotel is in the new territories. this means that you are quite a long way from any attraction or shopping. you have to rely on the hotel shuttle bus to get you to the tseun wan train station and there is a lot of rail travel to go anywhere. make sure you get a hong kong map with the mtr network on it. the vistas from the rooms are amazing if you can get a room looking out over the south china sea
the hotel staff are less than friendly. they are "efficient" at best. the hotel seems to cater for local wedding mainnly with the restaurant regularly being closed for a function. the only way you find out is when you stumble into the function on the way to dinner.
you have to pay for internet connection. the pool never seems to be open.
there is no shutlle to the airport. the shuttle will take you into tsuen wan and then the best way to get to the airport is by the a31 bus.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
i must say that i do not have many good things to say about hong kong. if you like to "shop till you drop" then maybe it is ok but even then, it seems that the hong kongese are trained to try to lie and cheat and do anything to deceive would be customers.
sadly, even the "cultural" attractions in hong kong have been turned into shopping malls and markets. very disappointing... my advice would be to spend your valuable time in mainland china rather than wasting time in hong kong.

Good sea view and services

the room is a bit small, yet the sea view from the room is excellent, we had dinner with the night view of tsing ma bridge. besides, it's quite convenient to travel to and from the hotel by its shuttle bus.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You may take the free shuttle bus from hotel to Tsuen Wan or Tsim Sha Tsui, and remember to check the shuttle schedule.

Great Hotel in a very quiet location.

we arrived at 2am to very cheery helpful staff. room was very very comfortable and a great view over the water. i thought being so close to the roadway it would be noisy, but i was surprised - no outside noise at all. very relaxing and breakfast was great, and plenty to choose from.
Travel tip:
taxi ride from the airport is only about 180hkd, from memory its the red taxi that takes you, dont take a ride with the "taxi drivers" that offer you a ride from inside the terminal, they will charge you 900hkd.

the hotel was nice and the service was good. location not so good to central but there is a shuttle bus to the nearest mtr station. the hotel was very cozy with the xmas decorations. we enjoyed our stay. hotel interior was nice, they had nice pool and big gym.

Romantic Weekend get away

My wife and I just spend a weekend get away to be alone from the city.Royal View Hotel is a place which gave us the quite and peaceful time escaping the bad pollution and crow inside the city. Although this hotel is far, I like the room style and make you feel like home. I will refer to my friend and others who is interested to get some peaceful time and grabbing some fresh air.
