rooms are small but a good view

was let down by the dining experience at royal view... the menu should be more extensive and some vegetarian dishes could be added... staff at the coffee shop didn't seem very friendly and helpful...
though must make a mention of the concierge who knew his job... gave us exact information about what we wanted to know.. the hotel's shuttle service is very punctul...

i was there for a week and it was great. the rooms were clean, the staff were very helpful. the exercise room/pool was nice, with a very polite attendant.i did go to the restaurant once, the service was very slow, but nice all around. not so happy about the paid internet, but it was pretty fast. price of the room was pretty cheap considering it's a 4 star hotel in hong kong. well, it is kind of in the middle of nowhere. the shuttle bus is fast and convenient, so i'm not complaining about it's location.
overall, fantastic.

It might be a good hotel. but not good for me.

It takes 1 hour for me and my 9-year-old boy to find the shuttle bus to the hotel. It is not because both of us are too stupid to find a way, it is really because the direction to the bus is not very clear at a big and noise stop.
For the Breakfast is not included in the Room Rate, I have to take my boy to somewhere else which is a ten-minust shuttle bus way from the hotel for my Breakfast. It is very inconvenient for a traveller.
Facility is ok, view is ok too, but for a traveller, many facilities such as swimming pool are no use, and the service of the hotel is just so so. I would like to say I will never stay here any more.
Restaurant Tip:
bbf better included in the rooms.

Comfortable room with a nice view

a very comfortable room and good view in the morning.
i awoke to a kong kong bay view. that was a nice feature.
however, i wanted breakfast before going to the airport and the kitchen or restaurant did not open before 7:am.
that was a diapointment, i was about to embark on a trans pacific flight, aka = endurance test.
Travel tip:
the hotel is not easy to get to so get some hk dollars to get there after the airport bus drops you off and then in the morning to return to the hk airport. at least dollars each way.

Great location and convenient feeder bus service

reasonable room size for one person. good location and quiet with nice view surrounding. bus service to tsuen wan very convenient. maybe can extend bus services till midnight instead of 10.30pm.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Movie night for guess on every alternate night.

It was a brief stay but great room and staff. The only complaint was not to have free internet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Free shuttle to MRT, but only runs until 10:30. Cab was not too expensive, though.

wow , it is a magnificent one
if you ant to relax this is the place especially after crowd and shopping , saunas open door swimming pool restaurant etc..

the view was beautiful i had a harbor view room if you get mountain view i think it s as good because you are facing a wonderful mountain view with open door swimming pool which is magnificent, you can walk next door 5 minutes and there is a wonderful beach at first i didn't believe but the water seemed quite clean to me not better than Sanya off course ( for mainland travelers ) but it s clean and safe . they have nothing around the hotel no supermarkets no shops no restaurants but you can bring it from the center or eat at the hotel as they offer 45% to 60% discounts on hotel guests,,,( as if someone else would go and eat there:))but restaurants is good 4 star standards,,,,
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
RELAXATION they have pool gym saunas etc....
