Location good for mass transit
right above jordan mtr station

hotel is a bit tired, renovated lobby, good location above jordan mtr station. quick taxi to airport express station and china ferry terminal.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't go during a trade show as the price can triple.

Great location
location! just above jordan mtr station

first thing about this hotel, and the main reason we chose this hotel is its location. it's on nathan road, and very near jordan mtr station (literally 'above' it).
lots of local food vendors just a couple of street behind this hotel. one that caught my eye is the "austalia dairy", which has people queued up outside its door since morning. we didn't tried it though, since we don't have the time.
its also very near temple market (the night market), selling literally everthing, including clothes, souvenirs etc.
room is small, but still comfortable. and it seems that every room layout is different. we booked 2 rooms. one has window, the other not. room facilities include lcd tv, desk table, luggage table, a lounge chair, cabinet, fridge. bathroom amenities: bathtub, shower (with detachable shower head), shampoo, soap, shaving razor, combs, hair dryer.
breakfast is available, they give 2 coupons for 2 people per day per room. so if you're a couple with one children (mine is 5 years old), you have to pay extra for that 1 person (82 hkd per person... we ended up having to pay half the price anyway, maybe because we traveled with another couple with 1 child), even if your children only eats a bowl of cereal :(. they are very very strict on this. we saw another couple with children arguing about this too, and ended up paying for extra person.
wifi is available, but not free. it costs 100 hkd per day.
to go to the airport, you can just take bus a21 that will take you directly to the airport (its a double decker bus, with spaces to put luggage). the bus stop is just 2-3 minutes walk south of the hotel. hotel to airport ride takes about 1 hour.
Hotel Feature Tip:
caution for family with one or more children that stayed in one room, as breakfast is counted per person, not per room. they only give 2 breakfast coupon per day. so you'd be prepared to pay extra for 1 more person for breakfast (82 hkd... and my child is just 5 years old).

The hotel staff are friendly and service is prompt.
We enjoyed the stay there, due to the supert location and connected via MTR.

Convenient Hotel
very accessible to tourists' destination and to shopping centers via mtr

our stay was a great experience. we were able to travel by train to all our destinations conveniently. the mtr station is just few a meters away from shamrock. shopping stores are just around its corner.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do not miss the breathtaking 'the peak tower'.

Yet another fantastic stay at Shamrock. Check in and check out was a breeze. Hotel rooms were very clean. Concierge was efficient and pro-active.

Good location and Reception
location is close to mtr and its within walking distance to temple street.

went with relatives and were rather glad with the size of the rooms, except one which does not have hot water to shower but it was rectified. clean hotel rooms, but standing shower is rather small, unless you request for bath tub. i've stayed there for 3 nights and had their international breakfast. rather lack of choice and will get 'sick' after eating the same stuff on the 3rd day. overall, will consider going back.

Great, great, great location
right next to the mtr station

being right in front of nathan road was great with accessibility with almost anything needed by a family on travel - fast food restaurants, light groceries, money exchange, pharmacy, etc. the room was better than we expected but they upgraded us for free (which was great) so i wouldn't know how the standard room would compare. what was superb was that it was just a few steps from the jordan mtr destination. we were on the 3rd floor and thought it would be bad because of reviews on how noisy it could be being next to the road. but we found it not to be a problem at all. the room was overlooking nathan road and we actually like it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Kowloon park is just a walking distance from the hotel right around the corner. They got a bird park and a big playground which children will most likely enjoy.
