Great Service and Rooms
top class service; deluxe room was fantastic

we were really impressed with the shamrock hotel, even though the cost was quite expensive. the staff were still very welcoming and really obliging. the deluxe room was one of the best we had over our italian/hong kong tour. the hotel is central to lots of markets and the kowloon airport express station. we will be back again next time we are in hong kong.

great location very near to mtr

hotel is so near to mtr, hence gave great access to almost every tourist attraction. though the rooms are small but its clean and well kept, fairly acceptable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
purchase the tourist travel - octopus card for 3days unlimited mtr rides + discount vouchers to few hottest tourist spots in hongkong.

surprising hotel

I was visiting Hong Kong for business and i was looking for a moderately priced hotel with comfortable rooms. I found this in Shamrock hotel. Initially this was not my first choice of hotel but since other hotels were already fully booked i took a chance on Shamrock knowing that they had an ongoing renovation.
I was pleasantly surprised by the good location and size of the room. I have stayed in more expensive hotels in Hong Kong that had smaller rooms than Shamrock. My room had 2 TVs, 2 Queen size beds and a large bathroom.
The location of the hotel was good and very near the Jordan station of the MTR
Hotel Feature Tip:
Always check the map so you know if your hotel is accessible to public transportation as sometimes taking taxis can eat into your holiday budget

Check in was smooth. Room was clean and comfortable. Safe environment. Good facilities in place. Friendly and polite hotel staffs.
The hotel facelift in progress but did not hinder any movements.

we spent 3 days two nights at hongkong shamrock hotel. hotel was under renovate however the check in reception was very nice and allow us to have an early check in at 12pm. so we can left our luggage at the hotel before went out for lunch. using a key card made us felt safe. though it's not luxury but very clean. hotel location is close to jordan mtr exit c. food / shop are around you very convenience.mong kok/ tsim sha tsui are two / three stations aways.

Excellent budget hotel with great location
Excellent location: very near Jordan MTR, bus stops; near both night markets (Bowring, Temple St. etc) and high end malls and stores;near fastfood chains like Mcdonald's, KFC,but also near local resto's/ nearby grocery which is open till late night/Rooms are smaller but cleaned everyday to a very high standard/ friendly staff

This is an excellent hotel for families. The rooms are small but have excellent amenities and are cleaned to a high standard by very friendly staff. Excellent location - transport conveniently located (near MTR, nearby bus stops). We took the A21 bus to and from the airport which cost considerably less than other options, and although we had roll on luggage our children did not have a problem with that. Nearby night markets where you can do late night shopping, but also near high end malls. Very reasonable rates - it's a budget hotel that doesn't feel like one.
