Travel tip:
catch no 21 bus from airport33 hong kong $ each way,stop no 11 jordan, cross over road and walk back metres return same bus 100 metres from hotel outside police station

hong kong is notorious for having some of the world's smallest hotel rooms and this would be a good example. on the positive side the location here is outstanding as the jordan mtr station is about 50 meters from the shamrock and it connects you all over the city. there is also very good shopping in the area, as only couple minute walk to the temple street night market. so if you aren't put off by the small room this is a good choice.
Shopping Tip:
The Temple Street Night Market is very good for shopping but better deals and merchandise can be found in the Ladies Market. Shopping on the Hong Kong side of the city is defintely more upscale and not much of a bargain.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel as it is conveniently located near the mtr with restaurants and eateries around. Hotel room is clean and size is just nice. Good location for shopping. I will stay there again if I go to Hong Kong again.

the hotel is very well situated on the main road of kowloon. nathan road. one can take the bus a21/n21 at the airport which has a stop just opposite the hotel. one can also take the same bus to go to the airport.
the jordan station of the underground isjust around the corner. there are (very) good local chinese restaurants in the surroundings. the night market of temple street is not far away, where one can also eat outside in the street (nearly always very crowded).
for hk standards this is a very good hotel. one should look regularly into their website for promotions for a stay longer than a few days.

Convenient, great location & value for money hotel

On the 1st day of my arrival, I was given a rather crammed room. I explained to the staff & was given a complementary upgrade to a much spacious room the next day. I was very pleased with the service standard of the staffs.
The room was cleaned & made everyday, making my stay very at home. I appreciate the effort put in by Shamrock Hotel staffs & will definitely stay here on my next visit.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Take bus A21 from the airport direct to Nathan Road(Opposite). Cost: HK$33/- for adult & HK$16.50/- for child.
Bus frequency is fast and stops are very close to hotel

We chose Shamrock because of the rate and reviews in agoda. Pleasantly surprise with the cleanliness. The room we had with the added bed (3bed altogether) is still acceptable in size. Bathroom a little small with limited shelf areas although we managed with a side table from the room. We would be happy to go back next time.

Shamrock is a good choice. From the airport you can take a bus, the stop is on the other side of the road just in front of the hotel. You can take the train, Jordan station is just beside Shamrock. 7-11 is a minute walk away, Watson's around 2 minutes. There's a mall directly in front and lot of cheap resto's with great food. Shamrock is old but not shabby. They'll clean your room everyday if you want. Rooms are small but clean and adequate. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
Hotel Feature Tip:
They sell tickets for Disneyland. They can book you if you want to join tours (Disneyland, Ocean Park, City Tour, Macau etc).
