The selling points and things I like is that in front of the hotel is a beautiful beach and walk for about few minutes later, we can also have a free place for BBQ, it's very convenient.

The weaknesses of the hotel, is that the twin room cannot provide enough double-beds, and the room environment has a little bit dirty.

Although I have been there for three times this year, I also think that the rooms environment need to improve, and also be have to provide more double-beds for twin rooms. Further the breakfast needs to be improved, as the only items provided are bread, cereral, congee, and the drink just only milk or juice. These are the things let me feel so unsatisfied. Hope the hotel can improve, as it really a good place be my favour to stay for a short holiday.

Hotel staffs are friendly and eager to give advice. Convenient nearby ferries are available to take you to Hongkong site, to make you feeling mobile!

Hotel location in Lantao island is too far away. For the first time in my life that I got dizy and felt really so bad in my stomach sitting in the cab, fighting its way to come to this hotel and in order to get to the airport, inspite of my well trained body conditions.

I used to live in HKG, can recommend to stay here for the fit people. Good retreat inspite of the hustle of hongkong.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are plenty to see here in Lantao Islands. Buy the Octopus ticket before boarding the ferries so that you can safe time running around buying tickets for Ferries, and it cheaps! A short distance to reach HongKong Macau Turbojets!

Breakfast buffet is plentiful, staff were friendly and pool was warm and relaxing. Many inexpensive restaurants nearby.

Nothing stands out.

We read reviews online that warned us about the construction and old feel to the hotel. We didn't experience any inconveniences due to refurbishing. Pool was great and breakfast was nice as well. Mui Wo was very relaxed and a nice place to spend three days. Lots of good restaurants in close walking distance.

Great for being slightly away from Hong Kong or Kowloon.

If you intend to stay at this hotel and go to Kowloon/Central, bear in mind you'd waste a bit of cash and time on ferry fares. If you can - get a room in the Deluxe wing but this wasn't available/was fully booked when we tried.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use this hotel as an okay option for exploring Lantau Island but you can probably save money and get the same quality by turning up on the ferry and walking past the hotel to some of the other hotels at the other end of the beach.

As always - it depends on what you are looking for. For me the location and being away from Kowloon makes this an expensive but acceptable option for a short stay

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ferry is simply a great ride in itself - and you can take a slow ferry that visits other locations

Evening meals in hotel were expensive - not a great variety of options in the nearby town. Bus service to rest of island regular and cheap.
