Good location for leisure holiday
Facing the sea with a good beach. A lot of restaurants nearby.

I stayed for two nights with my family. During our stay, the gyms and outdoor swimming pool were under maintanence. The restaurant is facing the sea and provides a good view of the beach. There are two wings of the hotel and I stayed in the old one. In general, the facilities are a bit old but acceptable. For the Wi Fi in room, you have to pay about HK$200 for three days.

that is the hotel I would visit again as the vicinity of the hotel are colourful and abundant such as beach, hill and small village. also the staff members' service is up to standard.
Nightlife Tip:
you may visit the small village next to the hotel that is another living style full of joy especially in festival days.

went there for Christmas eve, great location and the place is not packed at all.....breakfast is included in the price, with good food. the room is big enough and with delicated decoration. staffs are nice and it's only 5 min from the pier.

The good and the bad, The good is there is "local" seafood ,HK resturants around that have amazing seafood, area is very local where prices are cheap. The bad, they didnt really have a handle on the wireless internet and they had to work on mine 4 times, which was very important as my friend was waiting for me at the airport. Overall you can save here but its away for most business areas.
Restaurant Tip:
Resturant tip for HK , go to 5-10 table resturants avoid tourist resturants, as value and potion size is in the little local ones where you have to point to the picture.

Location is really good.
By the beach, buffet breakfast.

Very good location on the beach with some nice walks. Ferry boat ride into town or to other islands. I went to Peng Chau and Chueng Chau, 2 very different places. Also buses to Nong Ping monastery and Tai O village. Mornings can be early wake ups if there are mainland Chinese guests and had one night of HK young girls in the next room loud till 3 a.m..Internet a bit pricy HK$ 100 per day. But as a hotel it was a good deal and I'll be going back.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Through the village of Mui Wo there's a waterfall and old silvermine. Not that impressive but a good walk ( steep uphill to silver mine). Bus to Tai O village with houses on stilts above the water. Ferry boat to outlying islands makes a good day out. Ferry in to town will show you all the harbour sights and at night time the harbour lights are spectacular. Lots of Chinese tourists in downtown HK.

It is a good choice if you are willing to stay somewhere near the airport, since it is one of the nearest hotels, but still takes 30 minutes to get there by taxi. The facilities are old as well as the decoration. These points made it pricey for what they are offering.
Travel tip:
Get the Lantau taxis to get there! (blue ones, not the green ones!)

Nice location but mediocre service

Too expensive for the services provided. Taxi stopped behind the hotel and we had to bring the luggage to the hotel ourselves, there was no lift (rooms on 3rd floor), internet had to be paid extra. We were there off season (in December) so repairs were done on the same floor and pool was closed (that's okay) but the phone room to room didn't work and window curtain was broken. However, the room was clean and big and the bed was very comfortable. We spent there only one night between flights and but the hotel was not as close to the airport as we thought.

Nice location and relaxing

Kids play-park is close by and of course the beach is right across from the hotel. The bus terminus to the Buddha and other places is within walking distance. We stayed only for one night but highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the hustle-bustle of the city.
