A nice HK getaway...
Right on the beach, nice little pool, tennis courts, great trail walks through mountains

Enjoyed the stay. Room was normal for a smallish hotel, clean and not smelly. Right on the beach with a decent restaurant and quaint bar. A nice weekend getaway from the hustle of HK.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Waterfall and silvermine cave.

Peaceful and quiet location
Mui woo and the proximity to the beach is reenergizing!

the nature as your neighbor which allows for a peaceful and healthy start of an often busy and intense day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go for a walk, get exhausted but amazed by the view and then return to the beach for a swim...

hotel room and service OK, wifi is really expensiv

Reception is nice and friendly. Efficient process too.However, they charge 100HKD for four hours wifi which i think is unreasonable. Hotel room look nice and bathroom is good. Cleaning situation is really well too. I do got a drunk american knock my door at 1am but it is not the hotel problem. I would recommend this hotel if you dont need to close to city centre.(far away from city centre actually)

Wifi HKD100 for four hours and no DVD player

The place is nice, though building is old, its location is good.
The staffs are alright, we live in the cheap Wong, and find it guite good. Balcony is not essential.

Beach outside, swimming pool not essential

It is very convenience hotel, close to bus and ferry terminal.
There is a beach in front of hotel. very good for walking after having dinner with couple~
a clean room and without breakfast.. I think the price should be lower...

The hotel is located on the beach, right near the ferry port. Close to all the hiking & town. Carpets and bed comforter was very dirty. "New wing" was anything but new!

Fantastic hiking all over this island!

Great Location, a little tired looking
Right on beach, easy access to excellent restaurants and ferries

Great location, the hotel is a little tired but rooms are clean and spacious. To get a hotel for this price is great for Hong Kong and Silvermine beach is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Wanchai, Kowloon and Central. Easy access to Discovery Bay and convenient for the airport.

This Hotel is remarkably cheap for Hong Kong. The Hotel is right on the beach where motor vehicle access from town ends and it is pedestrian or bicycle access beyond.The hotel has a bar and restaurant. It has a lovely swimming pool but was temporarily closed.The little town is only 10 minutes stroll away.
Restaurant Tip:
Mui Wo is relatively well endowed with good restaurants and one excellent bar on the wharf. English,Turkish,Nepalese,Italian as well as many local seafood restaurants are waiting for you here.

Very nice hotel and accommodating staff

We checked in at 11pm and the staff is very accommodating, we booked for two rooms in south wing but he saw we have a lot of luggages so he opted to give us a room that's bigger and in the ground floor. ( they didn't have elevator)
