Slightly shabby, but quiet and handy for airport

Slightly shabby, but quiet and handy for airport and the ferry terminal. dollar taxi trip from the airport, so perfect for an overnight stopover or a couple of days - ferry to Central only about 30 mins. Beach quite nice for a short walk, but that's about it. Local restaurants seem nice, and good base for some hiking in the area.

以梅窩為落腳點, 遊昂平, 大澳, 東涌都有巴士連接, 十分方便. 酒店並不豪華但算是清潔, 對著海灘及大自然, 令人心曠神怡.

Overall it was a nice stay in a relaxing environment. Though it is a bit remote, but it is nice for leisure. The room is OK but the toilet is a bit too small. Breakfast that is included is reasonable. Considering the price, it is a good value.

I only stayed for 2 nights but it is a pleasant hotel situated in a nice bay on the island of Lan Tau. It is just a few hundred metres from the Ferry Terminal to Hong Kong Island which only takes 30 minutes. The bus station is opposite the Ferry Terminal and from here you can tour the island on local
transport. A popular trip is to see the Giant Bhuda just a half hours bus ride away.

Lovely Location

The location of this hotel is beautiful and is a very pleasant taxi drive from the airport. However, I did have to wait 30 minutes for a taxi.
As the only hotel in the area, this means that the locals and Chinese visitors well outnumber Western visitors which is lovely for those who want to experience a more natural environment without hosts of tourists.
The hotel is a little old but the staff are friendly and my room was comfortable and had everything I needed.

Nice Hotel with good servise...

We arrived on 3pm & can check in hotel very fast. Staff very nice.
The beautiful beach very near Hotel only walk outside.
I lived in New-Wing, so the hotel room is clean & good. But there are some smile of smoking outside the room ....
Next Morning
The breakfast time very short only from 7am to 10am. And not much choice for disk. Just OK.
The swimming pool also open time very short (from 8am to 6pm)
We wake up at 7.30am then go to swimming pool on 8am, but swimming pool not open yet. Then We go again on 8.15am which the swimming pool is open. Swimming pool not very clean - have leaf. And the child playground is just ok - also have leaf.
Cannot exten check out time so if you want to take a walk on Mui Wo after breakfast, you must walk very fast. Otherwise will have penalty for check out late.

Nice service of staff. Check in very fast.
Breakfast time too short only from 7am to 10am.
Swimming pool open not on time. We go on 8am to see my grand-daughter swimming but swimming pool not yet open then we go out for a walk. Therefore, we cannot see our grand-daughter swimming.
Room is clean.
My grand-daughter complaim only can play very short time since she need to have breakfast together with us....
Restaurant Tip:
We suggests go out Mui Wo Market for Dim Sum - can breakfast with Grand-daughter comfortable & no need to rush time.

Great staff compliment and extremely relaxed atmosphere

Close to all transport pick up/drop off areas and local food restaurants for great seafood.Lovely short hikes into the thickly vegetated and steep hills bordering the coastline on Lantau island.
Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to accomodate me when I needed help and advice on certain aspects of travelling around etc.
Recomended value for money.

The value was good for the money and breakfast was included, Mui Wo is a lovely peaceful area - only 30 minutes by boat from downtown Central, and across the mountain shoulder to the airport.
