Even though the room was little small, it was nicely decorated and contains all that one needs for a comfortable stay in hong kong. And staff were friendly and the hotel was easily accessible to the subway station, buses and trams. Lan kwai fong is about 15 mins or less away by taxi which costs around $25.

The hotel is quite nicely decorated and is near to MTR. Con is the small free space available in the room. With the price paid, small space is compromised. the hotel is near to macau ferry terminal too, walking distance 5 to 8 mins. The helpdesk is friendly too.

i stayed here with my sister for a week and it was perfect! the rooms are very small but if you're going to be out during the day and just want somewhere to sleep then this is perfect!! the beds are small but comfortable, the bathroom had all the amenities we needed and the staff were fantastic! they lent me an adapter and extension cord and were so helpful.
the location is great and you're in walking distance to everything. i would recommend this hotel to people who want a nice, simple room and will be out during the day. if you're with your partner you might want something a little more spacious and romantic as soon as your key card opens the room door your 2 steps from the bed and 1 step from the bathroom.
the price, location, service and comfortable rooms make this hotel fantastic and i would definitely return

the room is very small and you won't have any walking space after you leave your luggage on the floor. the plus part is you get free wifi and the location is great. 5 minutes walk to the train station. within walking distance is also hollywood road and the antique street.

Terrible service and tiny rooms with a bad smell

The very first staff member that we interacted with was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful in answering our questions. He seemed annoyed by us asking questions of the area, and provided vague answers that were of no use.
Upon exiting the elevator to our floor, it was stuffy and had to pass by a fire door to get to the entrance to our room. The room was even stuffier than the lobby, it smelled as if no one had lived in it for months, and we had to blast the air conditioning for hours before the stuffiness and the smell disappeared. Aside from the smell, the room was terribly small, and did not have enough room to open 2 large suitcases.
For the price that we paid, we were extremely disappointed and will not visit this hotel again.

Clean, funky and convenient location

I checked in late so did not have much time to do much but sleep - and this was perfect. Rooms are quite small, but well designed and comfortable. Very clean and quiet.

sohotel is a nice and new business hotel. it's within walking distance to hk ferry terminal and mrt but farther than expected, especially if you have large luggages (still walkable though). the internet is very fast, good efficient service. however, the room is very small (better fit one person), unless you upgrade to the larger room. also, you can hear the water from the next room everytime they use the toilet. all in all, if you want a cheap hotel within walking distance from hk ferry terminal, it's ok but dont expect high comfort.

Sohotel is situated in a great location whether it be for business or for leisure. Approximately 5 minutes walk away from the MTR and around 10-15 from Central! Upon arrival, you immediately notice the chic looking entrance which immediate creates higher expectation for the rooms itself. The staff was friendly and speedily checked us in. Although the standard room feels clean, tidy and well maintained, it is astonishingly small! Two medium suitcases and you wouldnt have floor space to walk through. Other than this, the stay was pleasant!
