Terrible service and tiny rooms with a bad smell

The very first staff member that we interacted with was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful in answering our questions. He seemed annoyed by us asking questions of the area, and provided vague answers that were of no use.
Upon exiting the elevator to our floor, it was stuffy and had to pass by a fire door to get to the entrance to our room. The room was even stuffier than the lobby, it smelled as if no one had lived in it for months, and we had to blast the air conditioning for hours before the stuffiness and the smell disappeared. Aside from the smell, the room was terribly small, and did not have enough room to open 2 large suitcases.
For the price that we paid, we were extremely disappointed and will not visit this hotel again.

Clean, funky and convenient location
bed was very comfortable!

I checked in late so did not have much time to do much but sleep - and this was perfect. Rooms are quite small, but well designed and comfortable. Very clean and quiet.

sohotel is a nice and new business hotel. it's within walking distance to hk ferry terminal and mrt but farther than expected, especially if you have large luggages (still walkable though). the internet is very fast, good efficient service. however, the room is very small (better fit one person), unless you upgrade to the larger room. also, you can hear the water from the next room everytime they use the toilet. all in all, if you want a cheap hotel within walking distance from hk ferry terminal, it's ok but dont expect high comfort.

Sohotel is situated in a great location whether it be for business or for leisure. Approximately 5 minutes walk away from the MTR and around 10-15 from Central! Upon arrival, you immediately notice the chic looking entrance which immediate creates higher expectation for the rooms itself. The staff was friendly and speedily checked us in. Although the standard room feels clean, tidy and well maintained, it is astonishingly small! Two medium suitcases and you wouldnt have floor space to walk through. Other than this, the stay was pleasant!

The hotel room is quite small for two persons but clean and good location. Just only walking distance from the MTR station and to the ferry pier to Macau.The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful whenever you need some assistance from them. I could really recommend this hotel to those who's planning to visit Hongkong.

I think i wont stay at this hotel again becuase i found that other hotels around 上環 are much bigger than this hotel and the price are lower. Although the location is near the subway, the area around the hotel is not that safe. Many buildings are under construction. The streets are old.
Regarding the hotel. The room is very very small. But the shower room is ok and the bed is clean. The smell of the carpet is not good. Easily get help from the staffs.

This Hotel is perfect to stay in Hongkong when you don´t need very large Hotelrooms. Everything clean, perfect service, friendly stuff. Unfortunately no Restaurant, but a lot of small Breakfast Restaurants in the neighborhood.

The hotel was nice from the beginning. However I was not expecting the rooms to be that small. The pictures were a bit misleading however given that it is hong kong the rooms can't be that big to begin with. The staff was helpful. The location was very convenient and luckily the entire hotel was very clean.

This room was for my guests which enjoyed the rooms despite the small size. Again the pictures were a bit misleading however, but the rest of the hotel was great. The staff was helpful and professional. The location is very good and othe price for this room is hard to beat in hong kong for that quality.
