Good location but small rooms

location was okay and near to central train station and ferry terminal. there are amenities nearby (10 minutes walking distance). the room itself is pretty basic. however the rooms are very tiny. hardly any extra space.the staff knowledge on which bus to go to hong kong international airport is very limited. they kept on saying taxi is the best way to go to the airport which cost approximately compared to the bus at hkd per person

i came to hong kong for a personal trip. the hotel is located in a very convenient place, easy access to mtr. the room is a little bit small, but it is really clean. if you just need it for sleep, it is good enough. hotel staffs are very nice and helpful.

the room is small but nice and functional enough. but the doors of other rooms closed too loudly (not the fault of my neighbours) and that woke me up a few times. the ceiling seems not very soundproof as i can hear dragging and other noises ominatting from upstairs. very helpful and courteous staffs.

The tiny room.Not a good value for money.

We booked the standard double room.When we arrived to the hotel, the lady at the reception immediately warned us about the small bed.I complained as It said double bed and did not say anything about the size of the bed.I went up to check it and found out it was a single bed.No way two people could actually sleep normally in this bed.The rooms was tiny but I could still deal with it but single bed which they were trying to sell for double was above me.I booked two nights but stayed only one night as two sleepless night in this bed would be too much before the long flight.Even when I asked to help us to solve this problem, they said there was nothing they could do.We could not stay in that hotel.Don't stay in this hotel, there are much better option.I'm an often traveler to Hong Kong and this is the worst place I ever stayed.

choose another place to stay.It's not worth it.

This is a gem of a hotel. Located in the bustling, narrow streets of Sheung Wan, Sohotel is a classic boutique style hotel. As with all medium level hotels in Hong Kong, the rooms are small, the bathrooms smaller, but all is made up for by very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Passable wifi, complementary broadband are provided free, which is essential these dsys and the hotel is well located near to Sheung Wan MTR station, ensuring that the rest of HK is easily accessible. An excellent find

the hotel is pretty close to the mrt even though it's about a 5-10 minute walk. the room is small, but it's clean and comfortable. the bathroom is pretty new and clean. this room is ideal for short stays.
Shopping Tip:
There's a Wellcome supermarket around the corner so you can get random snacks as food gifts before you go.

Don't really like the corner room

Don't really like the corner room as it is directly opposite the door to the lift
People keep wanting to open the hotel room door which is a hassle to me
Price is a bit expensive

The hotel is well located. Lovely service by staff, with plenty of smiles. Very good value for money.
The only negative was that the in-room TV had very limited channels. Besides, the only channel I wanted to watch had no audio; only video. I drew this to the attention of the from staff, and they say it would be fixed the next day then their techician came. It was not fixed at the time I departed two days later.
