Great Spot for Wanchai/Causeway Bay
9
South Pacific delivers good value and service by HK island standards. You can pay much more for the same standard in other hotels.
The location is perfect for facilities and businesses in Wanchai/Causeway Bay areas and offers easy access for transport by taxi or MTR.
Good facilities and comfortable rooms
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a taxi to Stanley (approx HKD100)to stroll the waterfront or visit market

Pleasant and Efficient Hotel
7.3
this hotel was well staffed. location is central and close to tourist access. the staff and services were efficient and pleasant to communicate with. had some trouble getting taxis for local areas since taxis only went to kowloon.room was ok although not very big. free internet was good. missed the presence of an in-house bar and could not have a drink after hours.

Located close to Causeway Bay shopping
Good access to transport options whether you are in HK for business or a holiday
6.3
this hotel is centrally located and the room is a reasonable size for hong kong. however, the bathroom would benefit from updating. it would be better to have just a shower, rather than a tub / shower combination as the tub makes the bathroom very tight. also, i would like a larger tv as the current one is quite small. additional channels such as cnn hong kong would be helpful. the day before my checkout, i requested a ride on their shuttle to the airport express station and was told it was arranged. however, when i checked out and went to wait for my shuttle, i was told by the concierge desk that they were sorry but the shuttle had mechanical problems and would not be able to take me to the train station. this was disappointing and inconvenient. they should have at least advised me of the problem earlier, as i did not get the sense that the mechanical breakdown had just occurred.

Big big room for urban grand corner for Hk standar
Hotel near times square and shopping areas
8.3
Booked the urban grand corner was surprise to see a big suite for Hk standard. Last suite I booked was super small.
Location very close to times square and extremely good for eating local discounted food like sushi and goose rice and won't an mee
Restaurant Tip:
There is a nearby sushi cheap store in the direction of times square. Wait till after 8pm where the staff will discount all the sushi in that store. I got sea urchin box for only 80 hk$

You are close the Exhibition centre but not inside the very busy WanChain night life centre. Nice hotel with great facilities.

Slow inefficient elevators...
Convenient location, wifi, good view from room.
4
Elevator was extremely slow, always full, no elevator attendant to control traffic at peak time. It took up to 2 hours sometimes, having to ride to a higher floor and then line up to go down to correct floor. 3 elevators not enough to service hotel at full capacity. Cannot take stairs to room as it triggers alarm.
Nice high tech toilet seat, small toilet + bathtub {funny smelling}. low quality toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc. Small 14-15" TV, no CNN/CNBC; no Indian channel. DVD player available. No free items in room fridge. No newspaper. Easy check in and out, however room was only available 3pm, no late check out without fees.
Laundry guy will knock on your door at 7am everyday even if you put do not disturb sign and inform them before hand you are not interested.
Hotel near tram stop, bus stops, food street, market and restaurants.
Agoda quoted in US$140+, quite expensive normally US$90 or less, but after hitting confirmation was shocked to be billed in another currency at ridiculous exchange rates.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not book this hotel during peak season, try Holiday Inn Express near by.
