Near the MTR station
Clean
Polite employees
Near shoppong plaza
Small room
No shuttle bus
We got in around 4 PM on June 15th and it was pretty easy to find the hotel, just take the bus from the airport and you need to walk about 10 mins to the hotel. The hotel is nothing special but at least it was clean and proper, good bang for the buck.

Location, price, members of staff, rooms
Excellent location, only 5 mins walk to Times Square and within walking distance to many other locations.
Room was nice, very clean and not too small. Members of staff were very helpful and friendly. Price was also very reasonable with booking from Agoda. One small thing that irritated me though, someone rang our doorbell to ask if we had laundry when we were still sleeping. Isn't laundry usually collected when they make up your room?

Great hospitality, very new, economically designed, but very comfortable and good air conditioning
very far from the nearest subway
It was our first day from the airport using the airport express then MTR to the Wan Chai station was fine. But it was difficult dragging out trolley to the hotel because t was far. We looked around and the vicinity is very Interior designer friendly, it had plenty of options from light fixtures to kitchen design and a lot more and they're giving out up to 80% off. The service of the hotel was swift and english friendly. When we arrived in the room was surprised to see our value for money. We slept very well, cool airconditioning and equipped with cold and hot water, strong water pressure, clean hotel rooms. Its worth it
Travel tip : If you're a "cowboy" type of person, and yu're sick and tired of packaged travel agency crap, this is the way to go. Get a promo ticket from your country and head out to this hotel.

Location, business center, good value
This was my second stay here. For HK, great value for money, especially through Agoda (I paid 50% more last time). The hotel is clean, rooms have mini fridge, safe, and tea-making facilities. You can buy internet cards for different time limits which is cheaper than using the internet in the business center. My wireless didn't work, so I used the business center. It wasn't staffed, so I had to get someone to come up and unlock the computer. They came up right away. If you need to use Skype, be sure to bring a USB headset. Rooms are fairly quiet, beds are firm, but comfortable. Water pressure is AWESOME! Bathtubs with shower, shampoo dispenser on the wall, apple flavor. Bring your own conditioner. English newspaper in the morning. It's just 2 blocks from Times Square, Causeway Bay, about 3 blocks from the Post Office (but the concierge will mail for you for a fee), walking distance to Sogo department stores and there's a really cheap laundromat down the side street that goes to Times Square. I have stayed at other budget hotels in HK, none of them compares to this--the rooms are big by comparison (though slightly small compared to US hotel rooms). Plus you have all the amenities you don't find in the budget places. Oh, and the doorman has a wonderful moustache that matches his Indian dress perfectly!
Shopping Tip : If you like Indian food, there's an inexpensive place under Times Square (entry near the cinema-go down the escalator, then up)Curry in a Hurry! Also gourmet supermarket on the same floor.

The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful in getting me oriented to the hotel and its accomodations; a relief after flying from the USA and in pretty tired spirits! This was my first trip to Hong Kong, and the hotel made my stay worth the trip!
To be honest, I couldn't find anything to 'complain' about!
South Pacific Hotel Hong Kong left a superb memory of my visit to Hong Kong due to the staff's helpful and polite attitude! This is a must for all hotel accomodations worldwide, but the staff there set the example for all to follow. To make a long story short, the hotel's location is also a plus! You don't need to walk far at all to experience the positive side of Hong Kong - its people. You can meet and talk with anyone there. The hotel's location puts you right in the middle of it all. There are sightseeing trips that can be reserved for at the hotel, but that was not the purpose of my visit to Hong kong. I wanted a simple 'R&R' and I found it at South Pacific Hotel Hong Kong! I will definitely stay there during my next Hong Kong visit, and recommend it to anyone visiting HK in the future! Thanks Agoda for the easy reservation!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Food and shopping sites are readily available directly in the hotel's location. Walking around a corner is a very good noodle house. Within a couple of blocks you can get great deals od jewelry and electronic goods. An overall outstanding location!

5 mins walk to Causeway Bay MTR Station; Eating outlets readily available; Shopping Facilities within walking distance; Rooms were clean; Friendly staff
Shuttle Service were not available on weekends
I was recommended to stay at South Pacific Hotel by my colleague who also booked through Agoda and stayed at this hotel twice. I must say it is a good recommendation. Location is good. Just round the corner, there are plently of eating outlets. Just 5 mins walk and there's shopping centre - Time Square and Causeway Bay MTR, really accessible. Hotel staff were friendly and attended to my needs immediately when I requested to freeze some stuff I bought. Room size was a bit small but for the amount I paid, I cannot ask for more.
Restaurant Tip : Cheap tim sum at Tao Heong Restaurant, just 5-10 mins from hotel. Cheap and delicious wanton noodles at HKD15.00 near the hotel too.

The South Pacific Hotel was very well located, near a MTA station and lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel appeared modern and was clean, the only issue was that the room seemed small, but then I think that is the case for pretty much all Hong Kong hotels. I would recommend staying at the hotel as good value for money.

Very close to shopping area in Causeway bay.
The room was very cold, even stopped air-conditioning.
It is a nice cozy hotel near the Times Square shopping mall and all of the actions in Causeway bay. I always had breakfast in the neighborhood small Hong Kong style restaurant where no English was communicatable. But luckily I could read the letters so I could point out the menu. During the day, I attended exhibition show at the Hong Kong convention center where you can walk to reach in 15 to 20 minutes. Good exercise and fun to walk with local people and enjoyed looking at many stores and restaurants. The hotel costs very reasonable and the room was nice and clean though it was a little bit small but, hey, it is Hong Kong, what do I expect?

The best features of this hotel were the friendly, efficient service, the buffet breakfast, the firm mattress (it was the most comfortable of all we experienced) and the location. It was an ideal base for walking in the city - and it's proximity to the Happy Valley Racecourse allowed us to take in the races before heading for the airport for a late flight home!
Our room was on the small size, without any particular view. The ensuite was cramped, and would have been better to have a roomy shower, rather than trying to fit in a tiny bath. Our biggest complaint was that the tiles showed signs of mould - and there was evidence that the cleaners could have taken more care in general.
We would stay here again, as the staff were friendly and helpful, and we wanted to attend the Hong Kong Races, but would insist on inspecting the particular room before accepting it.
The location allowed, us to sample local cuisine but nearby international restaurants were excessively expensive compared to eating western type food in Kowloom.
Hotel Feature Tip : Check the individual room before accepting it.

Location in Wanchai is close to shopping and public transportation. It is also easy to get a cab. Breakfast was good and they kept serving beyond the 10 am ending time. Reasonably priced business centre with helpful staff.
Lots of smokers, hence many rooms are designated for them. Make sure that you ask for a non-smoking room if smoke smell bothers you. Also, they were really picky about getting Agoda "voucher," in spite of fact that I had "Details of Reservation" indicating that the entire cost had been paid.

very modern good sized clean rooms. Great location. Staff attentive and helpful
buffet breakfast not always a cook at the ommlete station
First time guest at this hotel, rooms were modern and clean, upgraded to business class. Bed very comfortable, nice amenities in the washroom. Buffet was above average with a good selection. Good access to MTR and Time Square shopping mall. Hong Kong convention center is only a 15 minute walk. The staff were very helpful and spoke good english

Local markets with fresh fruit just outside the hotel and Whangchai-Causeway shopping area within walking distance.
You are only allowed to sit or stand in certain parts of the lobby - a bit like going through immigration or being in school. Rooms are small. Internet is by the hour and a bit expensive even for Hong Kong.
The hotel is clean, everything works, staff friendly and somewhat officious and some take their position too seriously. The rooms are a bit small. Local markets with fresh fruit just outside the hotel and Whangchai-Causeway shopping area within walking distance.
Shopping Tip : Close to Times Square and local fresh food market just outside the hotel - well worth the time exploring.

Great location,
Superior Room is much better quality than double room,
Close to subway stations,
Good price.
It is the second time I have been in this hotel. This time I took a Superior room, which is much more comfortable than double rooms.
Hotel location is perfect for night (next to Causway bay and Times square) and day, and very well connected to other parts of the city by bus or subway.
Holte is clean and silent, a great place to rest
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great fish market
Times Square
