Great location but small rooms

The hotel it self is pretty good. The food is good too. And the area is the best. But the down site is that the hotel is up the hills. So big bus can't go to drop or pick you up. You need to drag all your suitcase all the way to the hotel. The room is small but is enough for 2 people.

Really nice area in TST, close to everything. Room was much better than it looks in the pictures. The hotel is right next to a small, mid to upscale restaurant row.

Our stay was fine, as we made an effort to be out most of the time, touring and shopping. All we needed of the room was to come back to sleep.
The walk up and down the steps to and from the hotel can be quite tiring and hurting for the feet.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not a good hotel to stay in.

This hotel is close to the shopping, dinning and nightlife area. But you have to bring lots money because you will want to go out every day and shopping in here is not cheap at all.
But anybody will enjoy to stay in this hotel. Good luck and have fun.

The hotel didn't replace us with complimentary drinks. We only got the drinks on the first day when we arrived. It is not very near the MTR as well (10 minutes walking distance). Lots of other hotels in hongkong that we stayed before are with mtr just right outside the hotel door.
And there is a little hill that you've got to climb to go to the hotel.
However the concierge is very friendly and nice. He told us about the free shuttle services available.
Shopping Tip:
There are plenty of shops around but the food around this area is not very cheap comparing to other kowloon area.

The rooms were a bit small, but that is hong kong for you, where space is a scarce commodity. Very comfortable hotel, staff courteous and competent. The breakfast was very expensive, but alternatives galore around the corner.
Restaurant Tip:
Taj mahal indian restaurant on nathan road, delicious and reasonably priced.

It is located in a very centralised location. and below there is a stretch of drinking joints and restaurants to chill out. I just did not like the steep slope getting up and the lack of amenities or frills like toothbrush, shampoo, etc

clean hotel with good-sized rooms

we stayed at the stanford hillview hotel for four nights during our trip to hong kong. the hotel is located in tst, which is ideal for shopping, museums, and taking the ferry. however, it is on a side street up a small hill, so there is a bit of a trek involved in getting to the subway station. the a21 bus to the airport is only about a 6 minute walk away, though, so this was very convenient. the hotel itself is clean, refurbished in a modern style, and very comfortable. the pillows are huge and the bed is adequate. we had free wifi in our room. we did not eat at the restaurant because it is expensive and there are so many other dining options in hong kong. i will definitely stay here again the next time i am in hong kong.
