Excellent Location

Good Buffet Breakfast Would like to see normal soap provided in the bathroom, as well as the foam / liquid variety. We always choose to stay at the Stanford due to its excellent location in relation to the shopping Markets, and evening closed street trading! The Staff are excellent, and the restaurants are pretty good. I believe the Stanford offers reasonable value for money, although some would find their rooms a little small. It is pleasing to see the Hotel Management are listening to their Customers, as the in room wirless internet has been added since our last stay! Overall, a nice, pleasant experience! THANK-YOU to all at The Stanford Hotel, and we will be back!!
Shopping Tip : This Hotel is only about 100 metres from the Ladies Market .... fantastic location!
Also be sure to download or ask for a Hotel Card to present to the Taxi Drivers .... this makes the communication gap easier, and takes the stress out of getting correctly back to your Hotel!

Situated at a great location with lots of shopping around the hotel. Local food and snacks is available almost 24hrs. Movie theatre just beside and karaoke too. Safe location with lots of ppl around. Easily accessible by MTR which is within 5 mins walk away. Rooms are very small with only basic amenities. Lcd tv mounted too high on the wall which made viewing a pain for the neck. Staff are just alright who will not go the extra length to offer help or anything. This is a great hotel to stay in for its great location and price. Great for those who loves to shop and eat as shops open till late. Not suitable for family with kids as rooms are really tiny without much space for moving around. The train to shenzhen is also nearby so its good if you have intention of going there. Getting to this hotel is also convenient by taxi or MTR although trains can get a little overcrowded. Overall a comfortable stay.
Shopping Tip : A must go place is Argyle center which is not too far from the hotel. A great place visit for super cheap shopping but mostly girls stuff. Things at the ladies market or shops along the streets can all be found there. Fa yuen street also a great place to look for your beloved sport shoes.

A little bit far form MTR I was in Hong Kong to take part in Fair and chose to stay with Stanford Hotel again because of my nice experience last year. This Year I go myself a standard room like last time and it’s still nice. Everything in the room is in right order you would want. Especially love their bed which gives a firm support and it brings me to a new height of freshness in next morning. Service, impeccable is all that I can describe. The lady at the front desk gave me a swift check-in and the other minute I was in my cosy room. Everything exceeds my expectation. Will stay again!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very near to MongKok. Nice place to stay!!!

Stanford hotel at soy street, kowloon is my 1st choice hotel in Hong Kong. The hotel has a very good and strategic location for tourist coming to hong kong for holiday and shopping. Everything is just a few steps away including restaurants, convenient stores.

-very local, get to see the real HK - rooms a bit too small, but well worth the price I intend to stay at the same hotel my next trip. I guess that sums it all.
Restaurant Tip : There are tons of brilliant restaurant in the locality. Don't eat too full at one restaurant, for there are others with a variety of desserts, appetizers. I love restaurant hopping in HK!

-good location, clean, price is very reasonable. -i booked 3 rooms ( my room have no safty box) , my room is smaller than the others., the complimentary water only for one night .. the others.. nothing u can complain .. over all i will go back again it was very very good location and i went there for business trip , the other hongkong hotel have increase price for the exhibition events.but seem like this hotel the only one hotel not doing that .. the price is very very reasonable. i will definitely staying there again if you dont mind the small room ( but very good budget) clean, and internet you pay 20 dollars per hour which is very reasonable too

The location of the hotel was perfect. HK food was available less than 5min away of the hotel. Staff were polite to serve us and our constant questions of how to get to places and access to the Internet. Rooms maybe a bit small but which hotel in HK isn't. The Internet was FREE. We had a bit of a mix-up on the first day, so we had to stay at the smoking floor for a night. The floor really had a very strong smoky smell. The room we got didn't have any complimentary water which was quite weird considering that we got it in the non-smoky floor hotel room. So was the toiletries. Same price but better things on the non-smoking floor. The hotel was great. The service was good, they spoke all 3 languages(Cantonese, English and Chinese). They answered all our questions with lots of patience. It was indeed value for money as the room did have what we need and the location was just nice to travel around HK by MTR.
The bed was a bit hard, but we got used to it after the first night.
Food wise, we didn't try the food at the hotel, but the food around the hotel was great. My favorite would be the meat on skewers and the bubble tea, ComeBuy.
Nathan Road was about 2-3 streets away. Along the stretch there's many buses to get to place. Many shops to visit, though most of it is similar to Singapore.
I recommended my friend to go there if they would like to shop at the Lady's Market and access the Mongkok MTR station.
Travel tip : When you arrive at the airport, take the Airport Express to Kowloon Station. Cheaper to go in 2s or more. 1 for 100hkd and 2 for 140hkd. Either take a cab from the Station or change to the MTR to Mongkok station. The cab from airport to Stanford, would be about 500hkd. Not too sure is it because of mid night charge for us at that time.

Room is small but clean. Great location and the hotel staffs are very helpful. The practice of collecting payment to use room phone to make a local call is out of date. I stayed 3 nights at the Stanford and feel very comfortable. Clean room and great location for shopping and foods. Hotel staffs are generally very helpful. I will definitely book this hotel again whenever I stay in HK.

Good location, close to ladies market Need to walk a bit to MTR, quite confusing if you don't know the way. Central location in Mongkok, where there are a lot of night markets around. Easy to take the bus if you know how to. Near to 24 hours eateries, which is good for supper. Room is quite quiet too, small but sufficient bathroom.

I was so disappointed without go online, this hotel have to charge fee to use internet.In mainland China almost all the hotel have computer in each room. I did stay in many hotels. this hotel have good service over all. again, No computer it was difficult for us to check our E-mails doing so work, as well as "No complements breakfast included,.other part of China most of the hotel will included Breakfast.
