near to various night markets etc ladies market, fa yuen street, sai yong choi street... near to mong kok mtr as well..walking distance about less than 10 mins..

maybe should provide a comlimentary bottle of water for the guest because most hotels do provide.

It was a pleasant stay at standford. the hotel staff was friendly enough to explain things to us when we ask them for information. need not have to worry about not being able to speak cantonese because the hotel staffs was able to communicate in both english and chinese language as well. the only thing which may be consider bad is the hotel room was kind of small. but overall, it was still worth the money.

staff is friendly, good location and easily accessible. Near to Ladies street, Fa Yuen street.

Room is very small for 3 adults.

This is the 3rd time that we are staying in Stanford. We like the good and convenient location easily accessible to MTR. There are many “Cha Char Ting” which served good and economical meals, nearby shopping places like Ladies Street, Fa Yuen Street, etc. Our only complaint is the size of the room which is too small for 3 adults.

Convenience to get foods and HK style shopping area.

Wifi need to pay, hotel room (standard) is extremely small, air condition is noisy, facility is relatively old.

Room is extremely small in standard room. If two adults stay together, it is almost no space for you to put the luggage. However, if just for a sleep, the room is clean and water for bathing is strong and hot, it is seldom found in 3 stars hotel.

Restaurant Tip : Around the Hotel, many Hong Kong style restaurant with excellent food. Some of them is 24 hours open and so, you don't need to buy the expensive food in the hotel. Cheap and excellent food is outside the hotel with only 1 minute walk.

The sportful garden restaurant on level B1/B2.

Small rooms, but this is normal for HK. Internet access was expensive.

We were quite pleased with the friendly staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms. The location was excellent for our purposes. Nice local cuisine, and going to the nearby markets was great fun. The sports markers, ladies market, and goldfish market are all within walking distance. There was plenty of hot water for showers, and we enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee in the room.

Friendly and efficient staff, near the Mongkok mtr station and shops.

The room is quite small especially the shower cubicle in the bathroom.

Stayed in Stanford Hotel with my wife and 6 year old daughter for 4 nights. The hotel staff are very nice and can speak English. They have a free shuttle service to Tsim Sha Tsui with a helpful and friendly driver. Shops and restaurants are just outside the hotel and is a 5 minute walk to the mtr station. Would definitely stay there again.

Access to everything around hotel is very convenient. Hotel staff very friendly and have shuttle bus to TST & ferry terminals.

Need to upgrade the TV ...too small.

Our family love the hotel location. The young ones like the shopping and cinema nearby. The elderly loves the morning market and Chinese restaurants offering local breakfast behind the hotel.MRT station is just around the corner. The shops mostly close around 11p.m.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Mongkok is in the middle of Kowloon.Suggest you take a double decker bus to explore up north or down to TST at very affordable price.

Location, close to restaurant and market

nothing except the size of the room, but I guess it is like that everywhere in HK.

We had a nice stay in Stanford. The location is great as we can browse around in mal and market nearby. MRT is also not too far away, about 10-15 mins walk. Bed and bathroom are comfy and staff is helpful. I have got nothing to complain about I guess.

Very close to shopping area, and there many delicious restaurant

Room is so small, and a bit old. Location is far from MRT stataion

Good thing with this hotel is that it's very close to shopping area; so you can walk back to hotel to keep ur stuffs. Moreover, there are any delicious resturants close to the hotel; (Delicious in my meaning is that taste is good enough to claim as HK food like congee and hotpot rice). But location is far from MRT, even it's in walking distance, but if you want to go anywhere else except the place the you can take a bus from Nathan road like Shim Sha Sui, it's not so convenience.

Great location central to great shopping, not too far from 2 separate metro lines, very clean, good value, great amenities, stores left luggage after you check out!

they had a hard time finding my reservation

Great hotel, great value especially for Hong Kong. Perfect for solo travellers, families, or anyone. The staff speaks English and are very friendly. Mong Kok is a great area for shopping including the Jade Market, Ladies Market, and some of the iconic shots of Hong Kong's neon circus. Beware, there's lots of people in Mong Kok at any given point, and you have to walk a ways to get to the metro.

Good location. Nice and clean. Excellent meals.

Small rooms. High prices.

The hotel has a very convenient location, close to Nathan Road. You can walk from there to many attractive places in the center of the city. There are also many buses and subways to take you to important places, such as the Harbour (for Lights Symphony) and Victoria Peak (for the most beautiful views). Rooms and bathrooms are clean, but not big. The staff is quite helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of them in buffet style, are excellent and inexpensive.

Location is very accessible for Best Buys shopping and it is very affordable.

The rooms are a little bit small.

Stanford is rightfully situated at the heart of shopping districts in Mongkok. The Ladies Market, sneakers and hobby shops and eletronic stores are just around the corner. The area becomes a very lively place at night where most of the streets are closed for shopping until midnight. The hotel is clean and its a nice and practical place to stay in for those who will spend the whole day shopping and exploring.

The hotel room is very clean and a standard room is just about the right size for 2 people. There is enough walkway despite adding a rollaway bed as we have 3 people in the room.

The nearest MTR station (Mongkok or Yau Ma Tei) is at least 15 minutes by path. I would encourage you to take Airport Express Line to Kowloon and transfer to a taxi to reach the hotel directly.

I thought it was a good deal for me to book the hotel room through Agoda rather than booking it through the hotel website as I have saved at least SGD$50 by doing so. Although the MTR is quite a distance away, this was compensated by numerous eating joints close by to the hotel.

Nothing. The room is really small, so different from the pictures.

The room is really small, the elevator sucks. I really wouldn't recommend to any of my friends and family.

As I mentioned this room is really small and with bad service. The worst hotel that I ever stayed in.... This is the first time I stayed at this hotel and it will be the last. It's worse than any drive thru Inns....False advertise... different from the picture... I have stayed at MongKok before... but it's not as bad. I never use Agoda before, I wouldn't think is the agent's fault, it's actually the hotel itself. But I wouldn't recommend this to my friends. It's still a good location there are lots of restaurants around. In conclusion, I will still recommend Agoda to my friends and family but not the hotel. Thanks very much for the service online, 24 hour service is good online... but not that hotel. I will keep repeating myself.

Travel tip : Laundry is available.

A very strategic location, it is just 10 minutes walking distance from the MTR and 5 minutes distance from the Ladies Market. Efficient check-in and check-out.

It was a little bit hard to find the hotel, as it was located at the end of the corner. And there was no tooth brush supplied in the washroom.

A very strategy location, it just 10 minutes walking distance from the MTR and 5 minutes distance from the Ladies Market. Outside the hotel, visitors can get anything they need, shopping, food stuff and extras. Hotel staff were friendy and efficient, and we were warmly welcomed by them. Overall experince was good, strongly recommend to those who are looking for a good place to stay.

Shopping Tip : You can spend a whole day shopping around this hotel!!! Seriously.
