A good value stay
Clean, safe, economical and away from the madding crowds.
7.3
Whilst I have been staying at hotels in Hong Kong for over 40 years this was a first for the Anne Black. The rate was excellent value, the hotel is clean and efficient and of the no frills standard one expects of a YWCA. It is ideal for the tourist with time on his hands. For the business traveller, the distance from the Yau Ma Tei MTR station is a drawback since it takes at least 15 minutes walk in the HK humidity to get there. But it provides an excellent insight into an area where many middle class Hongkongers really live.
I would stay there again.

Overall is still cheap in Hong Kong, the only problem is no subway station nearby. Need to walk atleast 20mins to the subway station.

Quick Hong Kong stopover
Safe, clean, cheap, near Mong Kok market
7.7
They'd run out of standard rooms so had a choice between cheaper and more expensive. Since I was only there for a few hours, I went for the cheap option and I'm glad I did. It was safe, clean and inexpensive and the communal bathrooms were fine. I will use these rooms again.

It was clean room, but nothings were there without a bed, lamp, a mirror, and an air controller.if you need a cheap and clean room,it's good to you. You don't need to be careful about alone-walking on the night around the hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
AROUND THIS HOTEL, THERE ARE MANY MANY SHOPS. EVEN IT'S NIGHT, YOU CAN BUT SEVERAL THINGS IN THAT TOWN.

Excellent Budget Hotel
Price, 10 minutes from Mangkok station MTR.
8.3
Price is excellent for this hotel. I have stayed here several times and will stay again on my next trip.It is very clean, the staff are professional, and it is 5 minutes walk to major shopping at stores as well as a huge market. The only downfall is the shared bathroom but it is really clean and I never had to wait to use it. It is located lust across the hall from the rooms.

Great Budget Hotel
Clean, in a safe area, nice showers
8
This was a really nice budget hotel. It was in a safe area on 5 minutes walk to the electronic and ladies market. 10 minute walk to Mongkok subway station. The room was spacious enough for two people, really clean, and the showers were just across the hall. The staff were very professional and check in was quick and easy.
Shopping Tip:
Ladies market, electornic market, sporting goods market just 5 miunte walk away. There is also a lot of other shopping in the area.

A night in Anne Black
the superior room is big enough and the bed is really big. clean.
6.7
I enjoyed our short stay in Anne Black YWCA Hotel. Though its location is not that convenient (it's a long walk to the nearest MTR station), i still liked it here. The price is ok. The room and the bed was big though i wished the bed was softer. The bathroom was clean and there is a refrigerator in the room. I hope that they will put up wifi access and a safe in the rooms.
