the Hotel is well located being only 1 or 2 minutes walk from an MTR station. it is relatively new and reasonably well appointed. the frontline staff try hard but they are let down by management policies which are not guest friendly. no restaurant; more precisely no breakfast available for the time i was there. inflexible rules. Overall, not the best experience.

i definitely will come back . the staffs speak good english. they are very friendly and helpful. the lobby is tiny but the room is comparably big. u can reach hollywood road, lkf , stary ferry , elevators to soho within walking distance. and only a block away, there is quite a few of western cafe (delifrance, pacific coffee).

i wasn't sure about the hotel from the pics online, but booked it because it was good value for its location right outside a mtr stop. the rooms were small, but perfectly sized for a business traveler in hkg, and it turned out to be very convenient for walking to central. my only disappointment was that the fitness centre was closed for remodeling. however i found a place to run along the water (also very close by) and a great yoga studio in walking distance. a very pleasant stay.
Restaurant Tip:
No restaurant in the hotel, but dozens of restaurants in the block. I found a great Indian just down Connaught that also delivers to the hotel.

hotel is right in the middle of the hong kong island, within walking distance to many tourist sites. you can walk there from the hong kong train station, macau ferry is nearby too. the room was spacious and much bigger than what i expected for hong kong. nice design of the room, no complains. the only downside is that there is no restaurant at the hotel, but there are plenty of food options around the corner
Restaurant Tip:
A very good Dim Sum place Maxim's palace is within 5 minutes from the hotel. Ask front desk for directions

The Bauhinia Hotel - Central has a great location with easy access to the MRT as well as airport express via the IFC mall. It is within walking distance from IMC mall which is very convenient for solo or light travellers. There are many nice local eateries near the hotel which is great for someone who wants to explore the local HK food. I will definitely return to stay in the Bauhinia Hotel when i return to HK.

We arrived very late (after midnight) as we'd been visiting Macau for the evening, but it was still easy to check in. Staff were welcoming and polite. Room was quite large, clean and beautifully decorated. It's also a good location for central and the ferry terminals. Only down point for this hotel was that it was very difficult to find. The entrance is on a side street and not the street that is used for their address.
