my family enjoyed the three nights stay at this hotel, we arrived around 1:30 in the afternoon and at exactly 2:00pm we have our room, free upgrade of harbor view. the hotel have fast wifi connection, and you can connect many devices like netbook and smartphones. nice and friendly staff, they even change linens and bath towels everyday. definitely will stay again at this hotel the next time we go on vacation.

Prior to reserving our room at The Bauhinia, we had read previous reviews. We were aware of the steep hill, leading to the street where the hotel was located. We also followed another reviewers advice and took the pleasant shortcut through Knutsford Terrace. In reality the hill is only a problem when trying to pull your luggage. You can always take a cab. Also, the hill does have steps on the sidewalk. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. The rooms were ultra modern with very comfortable beds. We were upgraded to a larger room (178). The room was very comfortable, plenty of space. We checked out the smaller rooms some of the reviewers had negatively commented about in their reviews, and found the rooms to be quite adequate and comfortable. Its Hong Kong for goodness sake. Space is at a premium in Hong Kong. If you want a large comfortable room you can stroll in, then book a room at the Fours Seasons at $500 a night. The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and very helpful. The K4 express bus to the airport was down the hill, on the corner. Total cost to airport by bus and train for 2 people 30USD. You might as well take a cab for 35USD. The hotel will call a cab for you. The hotel is located a few blocks from the metro on Nathan Ave. It is in the heart of the TST area. Nearby the hotel, you have your choice of high end meals (Knutsford Terrace), or you can eat with the locals at many of the nearby restaurants. The small restaurant across the street from the hotel, serves a great breakfast and lunch at a very reasonable price. The owners are also very nice. You can reach the hotel (shortcut) through the Miramar Mall, up the escalators to Observatory Ct. , out the door, pass Starbucks to Knutsford Terrace. This was a great hotel. As I said before the front desk staff was especially nice. I would definitely stay here again.

do not buy electronics in hong kong especially on nathan road!!!!!!

if you are thinking about purchasing electronics on nathan road in hk, dont do it. there are many scammers out there. the great majority of the products are knock-offs. they lure you in with low prices, that do not exist. also beware of mong kok east electronics, same scam.

Location a bit hard to find but otherwise superb
Perfect service, clean room. Location once found is very good – everything is just a short walk away. Shuttle to the airport express is practically at the door.

do not try looking for the observatory court, just go all the way up the observatory road and on the right you'll see a couple of irish pubs. in front of them will be the bauhinia. staff are very helpful and the room was really good with the view of harbour. knutsford terrace is just around the square and the shuttle bus to the airport express train station is about meters down the observatory road. definitely recommended!

very friendly staff welcomed us, accommodating special requests ( keeping extra luggage, having mobile heater in the room when cold). room is very small as minus point but clean and neat room was something we look for and pay for. wifi and cable internet connection was great. recommended hotel for someone wants to save money for hotel but don't want compromise in terms of cleanliness, proximity to mtr and local restaurant and relatively new facility.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you feel cold in the room, ask for mobile heater that works perfect to warm up the temperature of room a little.

the hotel is located at the shopping district, just a few minutes walking distance from the mtr.i was upgraded to a view unit overseeing the victoria harbor. the room was relatively small but well decorated, clean and tidy. the bedding and pillows were comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful.
