The hotel wasn't very appropriate for non-dating couples as the bathroom was tinted glass with a hole (as an acting handle). So it was quite awakward for friends I would say.
Other than that, it's just a no frills hotel good for shopping since it's quite centrally located. There were also sufficient eateries around the hotel.

My first and last time at this hotel. The price was probably fair and it served a purpose for my visit but from what I could see this hotel is operated more like a backpacker than a 3 star hotel. Rooms a small and have no natural light. The only redeeming feature of the hotel was the apologetic nature of the young woman who served me and had to show me to my room which was in the adjoining building. Her apologies almost made up for incompetence. If you plan your trip you wont have to pay much more to get a room in a decent hotel in the Wanchai area.

Strategically located hotel with great staff

although the room is quite small (approx. 196 sq. ft.) by hotel standards, but the way it is renovated really provided a great sense of space. there was a pantry, cook hob, hood, cooking pan, plates, cups, kitchen utensils, kettle, hair dryer,ironing board, microwave, and the toilet is very clean and functional with good water pressure and hot water for the shower. the building is also very interesting with only 2 rooms a floor (the building foot print is only 20 feet wide and 36 feet long but it extends upwards to 26 floors). key card access to room as well as into the elevator so privacy and security are really ensured. can't believe that the rates are so affordable for this type of room in hong kong. the reception staff is also very helpful and service oriented which was a great surprise. they speak english too. there are no cafe facilities in the hotel but there are so many nice eating places within a 300 meter radius of the hotel. most chinese eateries are opened at 5am and they close at 3am so food is greatly accessible. there is also a 24 hour macdonalds about 150 meters up the road. also, there are more than 10 24 hour convenience stores within the vicinity and instant noodles can be easily cooked in the room using the kitchen facilities.
Travel tip:
it's going to cost quite a lot of money by taxi from the airport to wan chai (approx hkd600 i think). take the airport express train to hong kong central station (but a return ticket at the airport for hkd$180.00 for your return trip) - this trip takes approximately 32 minutes. from hong kong station buy a one way trip on the blue line to wan chai station (2 stations away) for hkd$4. then turn left when you exit the station and walk up 100 meters to the hotel. total travelling time from airport to reception counter of the hotel is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Location is hard to beat, pretty good value

Front desk is on the second floor and they try to provide good service. I would call them "friendly" but not necessarily professional. Not a bad critique, a good effort.
Rooms are small but fully featured including your own wifi. Plenty of local type power outlets. Small kitchenette is a nice bonus. Not many amenities and the shower is an efficiency type that sits in the corner of the bathroom.
Location and price is what makes this hotel a great buy. It is two blocks from the Wan Chai MTR and a 10 minute walk from the Convention Center. Food options are all around and bars too if that is your thing.
Restaurant Tip:
Good little Vietnamese restaurant directly across the street from the front entrance.

Service was ok. Room Cleaning missed the towels in the bathroom on the 2nd day tho. Had to call Room Service twice occasionally before they acted on the request.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Great Place Nearby to Eat & stay if you intend to visit the Exhibition Centre. (5-10mins walk on the long overhead bridge from Wan Chai depending on your walking speed).
Go in Nov to Feb where the weather is alot cooler.
