My overall stay was good. Room service was very good,Staff were very responsive and helpful. Resturant should cater for pure vegeratian guests. Hotel is impressive. Service is good.Rooms are compact but mantained well.Staffs are very helpful and polite.Travel desk provided us with good knowledge of the avaiable tours. Recommeded to us ,what is best for the number of days that we were staying in Hongkong.The hotel restuarant should cater dishes for guests who are vegetarian.

Location, location as it sits between causeway bay and wanchai. Old, bath and shower gel's smelledbad, room's need urgent updating. Small small single rooms. Be careful and make sure your specify 2 ppl in room even if only 1. Otherwise you may get stuck with a single room and it is really depressing. Better choices available nearby. Unless you are desparate and get a really really good rate.

location, service, ambience Good location, bus and trams to Central stop right next to the hotel, Wanchai MTR station about 7 min by walking.
Rooms not very big, but that is usual for all Hong Kong hotels. Altough everything very convinient in the room.
Broadband Internet and Wifi availible for fee.
Good value for money, and good experience,
will recommend this hotel.

Charterhouse is best equated with its location, Shopping is a haven , and very good, LOcated very near MTR, and also Times Square, including night market areas. However the rooms are pretty small as compared to the general sizes of room in Malaysia. I would recommend to people who will b=have meeting and exhibition at he Convention centers as transportation is provided daily to the Convention.

reasonably convenient location the hotel had seen better times - initial room given was not to our specifications - we asked to be moved but this could not be arranged until the following day. Overall it is a rather grotty hotel. However, staff are friendly enough and actually know how to smile and say hello. Restaurant is okay for breakfast.

clean room, amiable staff do not change guest' slippers; lacks emergency protection item like face masks for hotel guests which should be given (at least 4 pcs) to each room especially this time of A(H1N1) pandemic flu. overall, Charterhouse Hotel is a good choice for travellers especially those attending the HK Fairs.
Travel tip : just a few minutes walking to the fair. conveniently good for businessmen attending the Fairs. Food in nearby restaurants are ok. near Mcdo, KFC , drugstore and convenience store like 7/11

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, the hotel itself was in a good location. The staff at the front desk were helpful when I asked them questions. I did not really see any areas that need much improvement. I had a really nice stay in Hong Kong thanks to the Charterhouse Hotel. It was easy to find the hotel and the surrounding area had enough restaurants, interesting sights, and cafes within walking distance. The hotel staff answered my questions quickly, such as when I wanted to know how to get to the Big Buddha or when I needed a taxi, and they wanted to make sure my stay was comfortable. I am glad the room had temperature control and a variety of stations on the television. Overall, I had a positive experience for a decent price and would recommend the hotel to others.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I did not have to use too much public transportation while in Hong Kong. If you exit the hotel and walk in the general direction of the water, you will easily find your way to the ferry terminal and bump into many restaurants and other things on the way!

I have stayed at this hotel many times. If your budget allows stay on the executive or S floor. Staff are friendly and helpful. standard rooms are quite small, bedding is dated and not very comfortable Bed bugs my first night this trip I was upgraded to executive floor, when this was brought to there attention. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this hotel many times and find it to be clean and quiet. great location 15 minute walk to Hong Kong Convention centre, MTR close and convenient, Time Square 5 minute walk

Good location, near Time Squares, restaurant, market... The buffet is quite good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Room is quite small and there is no different between superior room and standard. I can not recognize even I stay here for 5-6 times. I borrow the iron board and it's terrible, old, damaged (maybe the reason is: it's free to borrow) This hotel is suggested for shopping purpose. In the city centre so you can easily go to any destination in Hongkong. Quite good hotel. I still stay here in my next trip.

Good location, near Time Square, the staff is good too. Room is quite small even with the deluxe room. I suggest this hotel for those who want to go shopping in Hongkong. It's in the city centre, near shopping mall, near many restaurants.

Reasonable price and good location I stay 3 days in Charter house on the new year.. The place was grate location just 5 mins to MTR and the room is comfortable.. We also could bought the Disneyland ticket here in advance without any futher charged from the hotel.. so, it was really make us travel there more easier and no need to wait for the queue at disneyland... There also very near to Timesquare and I experienced the countdown moment there.. and the price is not high comparing with other hotel near by

Tiny rooms. Very old. Terrible beds. Upon entering the hotel, the lobby looks quite ok and clean. After going up to the hotel room, we were dismayed by the condition of the room. We booked a Superior room. The wallpapers were peeling off. The TV did not work. The bathroom was badly stained. And we got 2 tiny beds instead of a double bed for a couple on a honeymoon. The condition of the beds were so bad that we can even feel the bed springs poking into our spines. The only saving grace was that the hotel staff were quite polite and the hotel is at a walking distance to Time Square.

Room is comfortable and clean. Bathroom could be cleaner. For the money, the hotel is not bad. I wish I had known to request a non smoking room when I made my reservations. Unfortunately, the front desk told me that the hotel was all booked and offered an "air treatment" which was couple shots of air freshener that did not do much. Overall, the room was decent for the money and for the clean freaks, it was also clean enough.
Hotel Feature Tip : There are some shady bars around the hotel on Lockhart Road.
