The rooms were small but not really an issue as it's meant to be a resting place in the night. However the Hot shower tap need to be looked into by building management as it's either very hot or very cold. It's quite troublesome during the winter months. And requests for late check out were turn down immediately with no effort to check with management. Usual hotels we been to accommodate this request without a thought.

Nice hotel! Excellent location!!
Excellent location! Right outside the Yau Ma Tei MRT exit. 24 convenience stores right outside the hotel. Back door alley way to Mongkok shopping areas for very good and Shopping.

The hotel itself is good, quite a small room but normal for Hong Kong standards, although there is no hallway as you enter your room to the bed area, making you hear noise at the hotel hallway.
Good staff, can converse in English very good and helpful.
Location, location, location. Best selling point of the Hotel.
We've stayed just last Oct in Prudential hotel(Jordan MRT), and thought that had a great location, but for me this is better because it's so much close to Mongkok, where food and shopping is just a block away.

Good hotel in a convenient location

I like the hotel and its environment. It is clean and the service was good. The room is quite spacious by Hong Kong standards. It is located in a convenient place close to subway station and restaurants.

Very closed to MTR station and there are clear road signs that it did not give any difficulties to locate the hotel. It is also very near to Nathan road that houses many shopping malls and eating places.

if you like staying at the ymca, stay here. we booked 4 nights at this hotel. when checking in, we were told "we upgraded you from the room you booked to a deluxe room". the "deluxe" room was on the 6th floor (lowest floor with hotel rooms). we had the smallest room on the floor. (you can tell from the fire escape floor plan that is attached to the door)
horrible room, no heaters in the hotel. (it was 55-60 degrees f when we were there. cold!)
after complaining several times about the rock hard bed, someone came up and changed the sheets... not sure how that makes the bed softer, but ok. we changed rooms the 2nd night to the 22nd floor. much better room.
it was chinese new year when we were there, (feb 2-5) so a lot of places were closed, including the pool in the hotel, one of the resturants in the hotel, and rec center in the hotel. (closed for 4 days) there was still plenty to do and see, but it would have been nice to get a discount for the hotel since it was only half open.
Hotel Feature Tip:
FYI, if you are used to a top sheet, you will have to request one at every hotel you visit. Maybe this is an American thing, but we like having a top sheet. (Hotel blankets are pretty disgusting). Also, most hotels we visited in Hong Kong and Thailand have extremely hard beds.

Good location and clean room

the hotel is just located next to ymt mtr station and walking distance to mongkok. although the room is a little bit small but all the basics you need are there. front desk staff are all kind and nice.

Great Location and nice hotel

I got a free upgrade during my stay just because they told me that this is a non smoking hotel and smoking only can be done outside the hotel area. Well this is a good move but it will be better if they can creat a outdoor smoking room (just like most of the airports) for all their smoker guests than it will be much perfect. I will be back to this hotel again only after if I had quit smoking but overall, this is a really nice hotel with good location and nice food.
Nightlife Tip:
Lady market is just round the corner where they are many things for the ladies to shop and buy. As for man, just beside the ladies market, it is the electronic items street for the big guys. Enjoy your stay.

Big thank you to the concierge staffs,they were helpful and provided useful information whenever we needed them,as for the front office,please be more flexible,had requested for another 2 hours of late check out but was told to pay for half day rate !
