Very clean, friendly, helpful, big bathroom and great location we were upgraded to deluxe rooms! as our standard rooms were not ready, very happy about that.. it was Very clean and close to everything. walking distance to MAIN RD (Nathan rd, train station, restaurants and markets. Our room was Contemporary and bathroom was awesome, quite big for hong kong standards. Highly recommend the deluxe rooms!

The Cityview Hotel is at an excellent location, with MTR and Ladies Market nearby. We were upgraded to Business Room and the room is excellent. The staff were friendly and even the concierge were helpful. We were 5 minutes away from the ladies market and 3 minutes from the MTR station. We will stay there again.

good location-easy to get to & from Airport,easy access to MTR& to get around for sight-seeing-like ladies' st,The Peak, Ocean Park,etc.nice food easily available.lots of 7elevens around for pass midnight drinks &snacks. rooms are cramp & takes a long time to cool down.No offers or promotions for current stay,local tours or midnight snacks or teas at the coffee house.more information should b available & provided on how to get about,for eg,what are the routes & cost of travel on MTR,BUS,Trams,what are Ferries' timings,where does the ferries go to & travelling times to the destinations,etc. There should be a detailed map of the hotel area indicating road names, shopping areas,food stalls,good bargains for fashion & food. The location is very good as the MTR is very nearby with many exits.It is easy to get to& from airport. For that same reason, it is also easy to get to tourist attractions like Hong Kong Disneyland, The Peak , The Ocean park,Shopping centers & areas with good bargains.It is near the ferry harbour, so that we could get a ferry to different islands, and extend our sight-seeing options. There are many eating shops nearby too with a great variety from noodles, rice,porridge,fast food to desserts,snacks,fruits stalls,7elevens and many others.It is also very centralise with lots of shopping areas for a variety of fashion & fad, to food & face.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get a map with MTR routes, purchase an octopus MTR card to travel around.Research on internet on tourist attractions , plan where abouts to go & don't be shy to ask for directions.

Location (easy access to Nathan Road, Ladies Street, MTR), big & comfy rooms by HK standard, good security Room can get a bit warm when it's sunny outside, maybe because our room was facing the afternoon sun Booked through agoda. Was attracted by the location & close vicinity to MTR station, & the price was right. Busy & lively lobby. As recommended by other posters, asked for & got a free upgrade (11th floor). Nice comfortable room with LCD TV & ample space for luggage. MTR & Nathan Road are literally at your doorstep.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the side entrance for fastest access to MTR station; Circle K & 7-11 are along the way.

Well located, 2 minutes walking from Yau Ma Tei MTR station, clean You must pay for internet 50HKD Quite good solution if you want to be close to Mong Kok area. You have many restaurants and shops nearby. Reccomended for all kind of travelers as a good and affordable option

close to all major places, tst, central, mtr 2min walk deluxe room i thought it was kind off small City View location was great, it was close all alot of major shopping malls and a 2 minute walk to MTR station. 4 stops away from central and 2 stops away from TST, the hotel staff were great and the cleanliness off rooms was perfect. I rated the food three/5 because i didnt try the food in the restuarants in the hotel

Have change name from YMCA International to The Cityview, more class... Few minute walk to MTR & shopping area... Good location for those who love shopping & eating... Is just a hotel without much entertainment... But overall is still consider a best value & convenience hotel to stay in. Have been staying in this hotel for few time whenever I go to Hong Kong. Will recommend my friends to this hotel.

The staff was not very helpful. The location of the hotel was pretty good since it was near the metro stop. However, the staff was not very helpful. When we asked for a taxi, the staff informed us that there were taxi cabs waiting around the corner instead of haling one for us. The room was rather average and not the most clean.

Near MRT,easy to find local breakfast and store,good Security system the pool can not use becasue of a lot of children swimming. Concierge ignor guest sometime but over all are good I got delux room because I book by Agoda. Nice plase and near everywhere you need. Buy the airport express and take shuttle bus No.5 direct to hotel and hotel to airport express kowloon station. nothing to worry if you stay here...
Travel tip : I alway use MRT exit A2 and good breakfast at the A2. You can walk to lady market and temple market. Location close to hospital and fire station that mean you will safe here if emergency case.

Clean and clear, good security and good location as near as Nathan road or Golden miles. When I was check in at front of Cityview hotel I found smiling from staff and talk with friendly, after that hotel's staff brought my a baggages to my room 1218 with smiling I love everything about this hotel and arounding because the location of hotel stayed along Nathan road (Golden miles) which makes me easy to walk through Nathan road, Mongkok, Tsim sha Tsui, Canavon road, Cameron road, Canton road and more arouding this hotel. This is not first time for me to travel to HK because I often to travel HK and many hotel I lived such as Shamrock, Park, Novotel, Panda, Cityview and more... I went HK around 20 times and travelled more such as The Peak, Lan kwai fong, Tsim sha tsui, Wan chai, Soho, Tsue wan,
Causeway bay, Repulse bay, Ngong ping 360, Disneyland, and more without boring.... The Cityview hotel is good for services, cleanliness, location and safety. You can walk out from hotel to Nathan road for 5 minutes You will see both of Yau ma tai MTR station and you can used these MTR go to everywhere you want such as Avenue of star at Tsim Sha Tsui, Harbour city at Tsim Sha Tsui, Soho, Lan kwai fong at Central. Hong kong is very nice to meet night life and day life. This is a shame of HK which I never forget. I will go to HK all my life again and again If you have free time and money (555)... For me when I'm stay at Hong kong I feel romance and think a lot of HK and many hotel. The Cityview make you have a romance time when you wake up and look at every where arounding from the hotel you will see many taxi movement, humen walking and weather outside will make you feel good. For me It is true story.. I will go to HK again and again and will live at Cityview hotel...
Nightlife Tip : I'm Thai and enjoy to drink at HK as Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong kok which stayed near the Cityview which you can catch the MTR from Yau Ma Tai station to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and you will meet many of clubs and pubs around over there or If you need to see many foreigner people you will see them at Lan kwai fong or Soho at Central MTR stataion.

It is near Ladies Market and Pedestrain Road. It is the second time for me to stay at Cityview Hotel , Hongkong. It is so comfortable to stay here because it has a shuttle bus to pick up you between Cityview Hotel and Fast train of Airport. You can use a few time between airport and Cityview Hotel. Moreover, It is near Ladies'Market and Predestrain Road that you can shopping and walk around here by funny. Moreover, it is near subway that you can go anywhere in Hongkong by comfortable.

Convenient to the MTR (take exit D - Waterloo Road). Just by Nathan Road shopping drag, convenient for food, etc. Walking distance to Mong Kok, Temple Street Night Market, Mong Kok Post Office and a number of major banks. Serviced by the Airport Express bus (ever 20 minutes, bus 5). A bit dated now, can see it in the carpet. No bathrobes are provided. No free internet. Gym and swimming pool shared with local YMCA, so no hotel specific facilities. Good value for money 3 star hotel (although they claim to be 4 star). Very convenient to the MTR and is serviced by the Airport Express Bus (bus 5, every 20 minutes). Although a bit dated, I will definitely stay here again due to convenience factor.
Travel tip : Go to Mong Kok MTR for free internet. There is a laundry service right outside the hotel that you can use to help clean your clothes. The congee restaurant across the road is also quite good.

near to everything you like...food, shopping, mtr, name it... the water in the bathroom is great. the hotel fare is reasonable..not expensive compared to other hotels nearby to them. the bathroom..their toilet bowls need fixing..you have to flush several times to make it work the cityview hotel is the best hotel i have stayed so far..aside from giving me a free upgrade, they even give us an extra bed..free of charge! the security is great..they have a guard to check everyone going inside of the hotel after 11pm which give us safer feeling inside the hotel. i usually loved to shop hotels, but this hotel is the only hotel which suits our every needs.. its fix to our budget which means the hotel is not that expensive compared to other hotels nearby to it. i even suggested this place to everyone i know who's looking for place in hk. i will definitely stay there again for my next visit in hk.
Shopping Tip : just go out at the back of the hotel and turn right at nathan road..after 2 blocks, there's the shopping haven..and ladies market..also, in front of the back hotel is the mrt station

Very convenience place, just 2 minutes by walk to the nearest MTR station and you can get everything surround the hotel. No Pay TV or other entertainment in the hotel. Very clean and quiet and convenience hotel where you can go anywhere including eating, shopping...etc. This hotel will be the best choice when I come to Hong Kong next time.

Location, less than 1 minute walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Ladies market, sport shoes market and Temple street all just a few streets away from the hotel. The only thing I can think about is a bigger bath tub... ha ha Got upgraded free to deluxe room upon check in! Very spacious room and so clean and comfortable. Quiet and cosy, great for complete relaxation. Hotel staff are polite and friendly, able to offers help whenever needed. Most of the shopping spots like ladies market and temple street are just a few roads away from the hotel, within walking distance. Really convenient and value for money! Highly recommended!
Restaurant Tip : Tai Ping Koon Restaurant (太平馆) - MUST TRY!! Famous with roasted pigeon and swiss sauce chicken wings. Walking distance from this hotel. Add: 19-21 Mau Lam Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon.
