Good location but lacks customer service

this was my second trip to this same hotel but because i was travelling with my family (and with small children), i had put in my request for several facilities, which were overlooked by their staff. i had even called them to follow up on my request prior to my arrival in hong kong, which they noted over the phone, but yet it was overlooked. when i questioned them about it, they quoted some terms and conditions to me....quite unfortunate!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good food all around this area. Lots of shopping in the malls and night markets with some good deal. But the hotel is close to the Yau Ma Tei station which is not accessible with children on strollers. So this was a big downside because we had to eventually travel by taxi!

Great location, nice hotel

I have stayed here before. Perfect location in Mongkok - close to metro station, perfect for shopping and nightlife and close to Nathan Rd for business meetings. I far prefer staying in Kowloon to Hong Kong Island, and I rate the Cityview for value for money and location. The food is good. A bit impersonal as is a big, busy hotel, but I will go back there again.

Previously owned by YMCA. There are 2 hotel towers. This is my second time staying at city view. Was given old hotel tower, there is 1 new and 1 old. My first stay was at the new hotel tower. Was told that i was upgraded to the premier room. To my surprise, i was given to the old hotel tower. Not very pleasant with my stay. Very different from my first stay. Definitely will not book back the same hotel again.

My 5 days stay in Cityview Hotel is good. The hotel is located very near the Yau Ma Tei MTR. The hotel room size is reasonable for 2 of us considering the fact that hotel rooms in Hong Kong are very small. In addition, the rooms are also very clean. Overall, I would say that i am satisfied with my stay in Cityview Hotel and would encourage others to give it a try if you are visiting Hong Kong.

This is the second time we have stayed for our HK trip. The main reason that we have chosen this hotel is the close proximity to mrt station which is just situated opposite the hotel. In addition, there are many eating places in the surrounding areas. We especially like the dim sum restaurant which is 3 to 5 mins walk from the hotel.

This hotel is very clean and i like it. I always use this hotel. Cheaper and convinient. Stuff attitude is very good and kind. Very near from Mtr station or bus stops.

Clean hotel with good size rooms in a great locale

Stayed in the same hotel prob more then 8 times! Yes, we love this hotel, for the price, the rooms are very good sized. Rooms are clean and it's right next to the mtr! The hotel staff are very helpful and nice. We will continue to stay in this hotel whenever we go to to Homg Kong for holidays which is at least twice a year.
Shopping Tip:
Shopping is just 15 mins walk away where u will find all major brands represented as well as the local brands. There is a night market not too far away but you can give it a miss as its sells touristy cheesy stuff. Lotsa food places too, try the local restaurants for their roast meats, they are divine.
