Big room and clean. near MTR Yau Ma Tei exit A2. Me and My husband stay at this hotel for 3 night coz this hotel is quite near mtr.Service of this hotel is quite good. Receptionist also very polite and very helpfull. Shopping also very convinience only 10min walked to "Miau Kai"(night market). on top of shopping, the food their also very nice. Can consider very relax. Cafe at lobby is open 24hrs is good for those people who sleep late. also can serve nets at the cafe..

Location!!Very close to train station and ladies market Concerges were quite pushy and didnt know much about area/shopping and shenzshen requirements. Fantastic hotel, would recommend to others. A bit on the small side but it didnt bother us as we were hardly there. Friendly helpful staff also. The only downside was when we were asking for information on shopping in Shenzhen we were that we couldnt go for the day and had to apply for a visa which would of cost $250 nzd. We took our chances and when to the border and got a five day visa for $25 nzd! Rooms were very clean also. Would stay there again.

New and very comfortable surroundings. Close to shopping and restaurants. Tea kettle in room was appreciated. Lobby customer service second to none. While housekeeping of room was completed daily, staff did not ensure all glasses/cups were returned to their original trays after clean up. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The front counter including conceiarge staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The premises were clean and location convenient. We will definitely think of staying at the City View again, next time we visit Hongkong and will be pleased to refer our friends to your hotel due to our very positive experence during our stay with you.
Restaurant Tip : We were very impressed with a small restaurant, ("Tim Ho Wun"?) close to the CityView which we found to be an excellent choice for lunch as the dim sum was very good and price was reasonable.

everything was very good, room was very clean and quiet, location was handy to everything and we had a wonderfultime,we will stay again the internet service price are too expensive and breakfast not included in room tariff very nice hotel graet service and location check in and out was quick and efficient,staff very always ppolite and helpful.

The location is within easy walking distance of Senado Square, St. Paul's and the Fortaleza do Monte. The best shopping appears to be around Senado Square. Our large room was quite elegant with a king sized bed, flat-screen TV and a marble-clad bathroom complete with a bathtub. Internet access in the guest rooms is $15, whether for five minutes or 24 hours. Our room overlooked the back of some rather ugly buildings. The reception staff were very efficient, if not particularly warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors not intent on spending all their waking hours in casinos. Many historical sites are within easy walking distance of the hotel and others can easily be reached using the buses that you can pick up with a block or two of the hotel. A Lorcha, Litoral and O Porto Interior restaurants can be reached with the 2, 5 and 7 buses; just get off at the Maritime Museum/A'Ma Temple stop. There is free WiFi in the restaurant that I was able to pick up from the lobby one floor below it.
Restaurant Tip : We had a spectacular meal at O Porto Interior for $14 per person including wine and the service charge. A Lorcha is another highly-rated restaurant offering Portuguese cuisine just two blocks away.

The people serving you are very well trained and friendly. They provided all the helps that I need and did more than I requested. The rooms are clean, facilities are adequate and beyond standards. If there are a bit more sitting areas in the foyer, that will be better since some of my friends who come need to stand instead of sit while waiting for me. The location of the hotel is very very convenient, close to the subway and some major attraction points and shops. There is a dry clean service right across the road and it is another convenience. Money exchange is just around the corner.
The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very good to start a day. If not, there are so many small restaurant that offers excellent good breakfast at a very good price.
The service of the hotel staff are beyond expectation, their manner and attitude are both great and made my stay there much like at home. I am amazed that some of them even recognize me after several months.
I will definitely stay there again and again...
Shopping Tip : There are two excellent shopping attraction that are within the walking distance: the women's street and the Miu street. You can get very cheap items there but you need to know how to bargain, never buy it at the first price.

Great location
Friendly staff
Generally it is a great hotel meeting all the basic requirements. The location is simply marvelous as it is located just above the YMT MTR and in between two shopping theme street (Namely Ladies Street and Temple Street). Something to improve on will be the thickness of the walls as noise from the corridor can be heard in the morning when guest goes out. Would be staying at the hotel next year visiting Hong Kong.
Restaurant Tip : There is one Hongkong style cafe along Nathan Road just beside Burger King which sell very tasty dumpling noodle and is just less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. Another store just outside the MTR exit which sell 'Cheong Fun' was also delicious.

Location is near to food and shopping room size is really small Cityview Hotel is located in a very convenient location which is located between Mongkok and Yau Ma Tei MTR staion, if eating and shopping is your preference, this is the recommended hotel. Lobby is nice for its class and the staff are friendly too, but the rooms are quite disappointing as its size is really small and the carpet doesn't feel too clean. Overall, i am satisfied with the location, its near handphone centre and electronic center. It is also surrounded by fashion shops such as shoes, clothing and watches.

- less than 5 minutes walk to Yau Mah Tei MRT station - NL (Can't find any with the price that I paid for) The room is just renovated and is very clean. I got the free upgrade to the Executive room and the hotel reception staffs are very friendly. They even help me to print out some of the documents that I need without any charges. The hotel located at less than 5 minutes walk from Yau Mah Tei MRT station and less than 20 minutes walk to Ladies Street.

location, service, relatively clean aircon too cold even when adjusted to highest temp, room can do with some makeover, wardrobe door hard to move, tv channel selection can be improved. great location; only mins from yau ma tei mtr. 7-11 across hotel, easy access to mong kok for shopping. service is good, esp. concierge. bathroom is tired and bathtub can be slippery. overall, its great value. :)
Restaurant Tip : Porridge opposite st at exit near concierge is quite popular.

clean room, convenient location. bathroom needs renovation, a bit old. hotel amenities could be better. i booked the room for my dad. Location is conveient, close to MTR. Hotel rooms are ok in size, stayed at the premier room which is a bit more expensive. however the washroom was a bit old & need renovation. i was disappointed in the tub & washroom amenities etc. could improve on that. other than that, the room was clean & tidy. the room wasn't as premier as I would hope.

Friendly staff (not the ones in the restaurant), clean room and ideal location Rooms are small, buffet breakfast has the same dishes on all days except it is kept on different tables on different days I would definitely recommend this hotel for single travelers and those who don't mind small rooms. Not recommended for families with children. There are other hotels in the vicinity which offers better/bigger rooms for the same value.
