A stay in the Cityview (formerly YMCA Int) Guest Rating: 3.8

The Cityview is located between Jordan (Jade market) and Mong Kok (electronic goods). Both a few minutes walk. MTR is just round the corner. The superior room is small and suitable for a one night stay. For our longer stay we have upgrade to a premier room with an average proportion. The swimming pool is also used by locals. The staff is friendly, helpful and well-informed for several attractions.

Location is top and good place for dinner

• Travel tip : Traffic free walk in some streets of Mong Kok and there is a night market.

YMCA International hotel is located in main street for shopping. It's very good to use metro to central of hongkong island. Though the room is small, very clear and comfortable.

The service from the counter and the staffs are great. I check in late, I originally book a deluxe promotion room, however, I believe it was full. The management decided to upgrade my room to a premium room for free. Excellent, the room is nice and clean. I like it very much. Expecially the plasma TV, great time to watch Olympic Game. The staff is friendly, it was my first trip to Hong Kong, the staff give me a lot valuable suggestion and advise during my trip about the travel spot in hong kong. Save a lot of my time and my travel agenda planned perfertly with their guidaince. The location of YMCA is strategies and convenience as it's just 100m from the MRT station. Nice and Clean environment, i like it very much.

Convenient and strategic location as it's just 100m from the MRT station. A lot shop walking street nearby. Hotel is clean and presentable. Way better than my expectation.

No Free Shuttle Bus to Ferry station.

Good location. Near to MTR and lots of eateries around the hotel. Also within walking distance to temple street and ladies street. Things in the room look new and clean.

The hotel room is quite smal. not much walking space. breakfast not included when we booked through agoda.

Hong Kong with YMCA Guest Rating: 4.0

Location is great, close to MRT station, close to shops and restaurants.

Since it was a weekend when we were there, the swimming pool was packed with kids who came for swimming lessons. So I couldn't really enjoy the pool.

Secure, Friendly and Simple! Guest Rating: 4.0

This is our 3rd time staying in this hotel although the earlier 2 times were not booked through Agoda (we have not know Agoda yet!). This hotel is well located just near to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station and slightly away from the busy Nathan Road. So convenient for shopping and eating as many of these shops and malls around the place. Going anywhere is such a breeze even if it rains! The hotel is cozy although the bathroom was slight narrow. But the friendly service staffs was good for our stay!

Friendly staffs and helpful even when we need to extend check-out time due to flight delayed.

Do nnot have sufficient room or space for keeping of luggages when we parked those luggages after having check-out (possible loss if no one in attendance)

• Travel tip : The many Sasa Stores selling all kinds of cosmetic and beauty products are good price is a boom for ladies!

My stay with Ymca International House Guest Rating: 4.7

The front desk clerk knows how to speak english fluently. They were very efficient, accomodating and courteous especially the concierge who have been very helpful when we ask for directions. The room were excellent for the price paid. Cleasnliness can be compared to a 5 star Hotel. Every time we go to Hongkong,we will definitely stay again in this International house. One last remark, Taking the subway to and from areas we were going were much more closer giving savings on transportation.

• Shopping Tip : Going down and walking 1 or to blocks bring you to Mongkok where bargains were everywhere. Electronics store were also everywhere. High-end audio which is my hobby are mostly there.

YMCA International Kowloon a Deal Guest Rating: 3.8

The YMCA International House in Kowloon is a great deal for travellers that look for all the provisions but not too much frill. The place is conveniently located, easily accessible by MTR, within walking distance to many sights. The staff helpful and informative. Everything is just so without giving you the feeling of overpaying for stuff you didn't need. Restaurant service was a bit strange, attempt @ fine dining but not..... Didn't know what to make of it. Otherwise, a pleasant experience @ the Y.

Conveniently located and accessible. Small rooms but great price for level of provisions.

Perhaps sound insulation could be improved. But given the close proximity of EVERYTHING in HK, I guess one has to take into consideration these conditions. However, guests should be reminded that leaving doors open and kids running about in the halls are not acceptable behaviour @ hotels.

Overrated Guest Rating: 3.0

A bit pricey for the quality of accomodations. The location is good, but not worth the price.
