Check in was quick and easy, we were given maps of the city on arrival and clear directions to everywhere we asked about. There is a taxi rank outside the front door and taxi drivers in town were all familiar with the hotel so getting there and away was easy. The view over the city from our room was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The park across the road was fantastic and free!!

Location is fantastic, rooms are small (as are all in Hong Kong) but neat and well kept. Reception speak good English.

Staff need some training in communicating with customers. Charging for the only bit of drinkable water in your room.

My wife and I needed an overnighter in Hong Kong and booked the YWCA via Agoda online. We were able to make a booking only 2 or 3 days ahead of our stay so we were happy about this. Upon arrival the check in staff were not as pleased. There seemed to be a problem with the booking but they did not explain what it was. They just said that they would "check some things on the internet". As you can imagine, the looming prospect of a night in the cold was not a good one! In the end we were given an upgraded room which proved to be very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The only other thing to mention is that the usual complimentary bottle of drinking water in the room was charged at mini-bar rates. Surely the hotel can absorb the few cents that they pay for this and give patrons a "normal hotel experience".

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is close to Bowen Rd which is a great place for an 8km out and back run in the morning.

Clean,calm,good night view in HK

A bit hill climbing.

I've stayed there alone on my business trip. The location is very convenient for business in both Central and Admiralty. Also peak tram station is nearby for sightseeing.I recommend this hotel.

Clean and modern style room. Internet access in the room. Park N Shop 2 minutes away for convenience.

Far from public transportation such as MTR.

This is a nice hotel, with clean room. The bed was firm and comfortable. I just regret that the hotel was a bit far from public transportation. It cost about HK$20 to reach Wan Chai MTR station and the HK Convention center. It is still reasonable. The hotel view is nice if you are lucky enough to face the bay.

Very clean, modern hotel with fantastic views.

Staff was somewhat aloof. There are no restaurants in the area.

I was surprised that this was actually a YWCA. It's a newer, clean hotel with a modern style. The rooms are large with a very comfortable bed and fabulous view of the city. While there were no restaurants nearby, it was only a problem because I arrived so late at night. Once I was able to get my bearings and wander the city a bit, it didn't feel quite so remote. I'd definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance to the Peak tram for a fantastic view of the city.

Mid Levels City View Room. Very clean. The bed is comfortable. The room has all the amenities that you need. Very compact.

Air-Con does not work properly. Too cold in the room in winter time. Not easy walking to central area. No free internet usage.

I liked to stay in this hotel. The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable. The weak part was that the air-con does not work properly, and the room become very cold. Also there is no free internet usage and is not easy to walk to the central area.

Hotel Feature Tip : Supermarket behind the hotel.

Location, good rooms.

Free internet terminals were hard to use and not in a good location.

This hotel was well run and located next to the Botanical gardens/Zoo and Hong Kong Gardens. It is also a short walk from the Central district and the Peak Tram station. The staff were friendly. I would stay there again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Botanical Gardens and Zoo are one of the nicest green spaces in Hong Kong and well worth visiting or just walking through on your way to other parts of the city.

Botanical Garden View. Supermarket just down the building.

The room can do some refurbishings---especially with the beddings. The heater was not functioning well and was quite noisy.

I love the location of the hotel. My room had such a lovely view that compensated with the rundown room. Although, I will still go back and stay in this hotel and upgrade to a better room.

Travel tip : Enjoy walking around the Botanical Garden. It is so peaceful.

Good co-operative staff. Ever ready to help. Showing the correct way and means of reaching a particular place & service with a smile.

For a smoker, one has to go out of the hotel and smoke on the road, as the hotel is no smoking.

For me and my two friends, YWCA was a really good experience in Hong Kong. The check in procedures were easy and the staff was more than willing to help in finding the correct way, booking tours and giving proper guidance. They also helped us to find the nearest vegetarian restaurant, as one of us was a pure vegetarian. We got good advise from them to select the correct tour for sight seeing. I was really impressed by the hotel staff, and the clean rooms (though a bit small). Communication was also no problem, as the staff knew good English. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody wishing to visit Hong Kong.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The station for the tunicular train to Victoria peak is very nearby.

good service, the cleaning staff were great, staff were very helpful with tourist questions, the pool was nice at the end of the day.

would be much better if the hotel supplied some sort of milk for tea as the coffee mate is no good for tea, also you should try and source a better brand of coffee as it was very bitter in taste.

this hotel had good service and friendly staff and could speak English which was very helpful for tourists, good prices to stay there, close to transport, free internet service great, and a supermarket around the corner, the cleaning staff were very good and even though they could not speak English still managed to communicate, the views over the zoo and gardens were refreshing and at the end of the day the pool was great.

Shopping Tip : the supermarket around the corner.

Walking distance to malls and action, friendly staff.

Tiny rooms, but typical of Hong Kong.

My family stayed here. Our kids loved the heated outdoor pool and the staff was really friendly. It's a nice downhill walk to some excellent shopping areas and there is a park on the way down with an amazing walk-through outdoor aviary...a utopia in the midst of the city! All this is just a five minute walk from the hotel. There's also an easy grocery store virtually underneath the hotel to make less expensive meals on your own. Taxi drivers all knew where to take us without hesitation. I'd stay here again, for sure.

Shopping Tip : Parkway grocery store is out the front door, to the right, and down the hill about 50 meters.

Although the hotel is situated in Central Hong Kong, the price is very reasonable! And the receptionist is nice.

I really didn't find any weakness of the hotel during this very short stay.

The location of the hotel is very good - in Central Hong Kong and at the Peak! But don't think the price will be a fortune! On the contrary, it is very reasonable. Although it is 15 minutes away from the subway station, I think it is good exercise to walk up the hill. If you stay in this hotel for a few days, you can enjoy doing some jogging up to the Peak in the early mornings as many Hong Kong residents do.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hong Kong Zoo is just opposite to the hotel. The cable to the Peak is also nearby.
