Good location but little service

5-10min drive from central, so very convenient. room is spacious in hk standard. swimming pool starts to open, with quite comfortable experience.
however, wifi is not provided in rooms, only in the hotel lobby charging per day! this is very expensive and inconvenient

the hotel is located roughly 15 minutes by walk from central/admiralty stations. however it is an uphill climb and taking a taxi if you have luggage is recommended.
internet is a separate cost (hk$100) for 24 hours. you can choose between using a lan cable in your room or the wifi network in the lobby only. cost for the lan and wifi is the same. you can choose to have one or both.
picking up a taxi outside of the hotel is not too difficult during the day however very hard on sunday nights.
the room size and amenities for the price was very reasonable.
access to nightlife in lan kwai fong (lkf) is quite close in just a short taxi ride away. walking there is also an option.
overall, i would stay at the hotel again especially if on a budget concerning hotel accommodations.

Helpful staff, room is simple and nice but not the best view. Going to the city takes only 5mins by cab..but not on foot (bit of a walk/hike to get there). Public transportation is easy to find.

large and nice rooms with a view. old hotel, needs some renovation. good gym fascilities. no wifi in rooms, which is very bad, and also the cable for the internet worked very slow - and you have to pay for it still, and also for using wifi in the reception areas. should have been for free, and should have had wifi solutions in the rooms.
no good english proficiensies of the staff in the lobby (girls - seemed to be from mainland china).
but nice position close to center of central in hong kong.

Good sized room and nice view. Overall not a new hotel, but the rooms and also the gym was good.
The closeness of the hotel to the Central area of Hong Kong is very good, and also easy to fin a taxi outside.
Clean rooms and everything worked.
Bad things were that the Internet and wireless solutions in the hotel were poor. First, bying the internet access via cable in the room gave a very slow line. The rooms have no Wifi, and using the Wifi in the reception you have to pay for! These things they should have fixed.
ALso the reception staff (2 at least) had very bad English knowledge and lacked service attitude. Seemed not be be trained for hotel work.
Still - if you need a bed centrally located and no use of Internet this is a good place to stay.

Beside the good location the rooms are reasonable. Unfortunately the bed is hard as a board. Most of the Asians rather like it, for me as an European it's a challenge to get a sleep.
Travel tip:
Soho with a great choice of restaurants is only a walking distance away.

i enjoyed my stay at the garden view. the room was perfect: comfortable, spacious enough, good features... the only defect i will point out is there are no wifi connections in the rooms, but a ethernet one.
the location is great. i have been able to spend all my stay without taking buses or subway, from soho to causeway bay, so easy. if you don't like walking, taxis are easy to find and there is also a small bus that is often passing by.
there is a supermarket next to the hotel that is very convenient when you don't want to go to the restaurant all the time.
gorgeous park across the road.
unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed when i stayed there.
i will definitely come back to this hotel for my next stay in hk if the rates remain the same.
