this i a nicely decorated hotel and the location is very good, with nice clean rooms, however the rooms are quite small and the view is not great on the back side of the hotel, therefore we would only recommend the harbour facing rooms.
overall the hotel was acceptable for our needs at a reasonable price, however there are much better hotels to consider

Good Location. Within walking distance to MTR trains.

A hotel situated in the vicinity of business district; walking distance to MTR station. Simple design at affordable range. However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovation works; so the availability of lifts has been cut down to two.

Right in Wan Chai
5 minutes or so from the Wan Chai MTR, friendly and helpful english speaking staff

The room was not big, but certainly big enough. It was very comfortable, well maintained, and spotlessly clean. It had a huge window with the nice view of Victoria Harbour. It's value for money, compared to other hotels in Hong Kong in terms of room space.
Convenience of having airport transfer is big bonus. It's very useful when you have late night flight to catch.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This hotel is in a business area. You don't step out of the door and find 711's or shops. You need to walk out at least 10mins to find food though there are resturants available within the hotel. And it is very quiet and dark at night.

A very nice view of the Harbor, although some of the view is blocked by the hotel itself and the neighboring art building. It is walking distance from a number of bars and resturants in Wan Chai. The rooms are a little dated and nothing special.

My wife and I came to Hong Kong for my friens's wedding and staying in Harbouview Hotel for two nights. We like the hotel, because the location and the services are very good. We enjoyed the staying very much.

Convenient... but very small bath rooms

We attended an exhibition at the HK convention center, which was just across the hotel. So it was a relief to be very near after a full day of walking. Hotel was very accessible to the MTR and the ferry station just a few minutes walk. The hotel was also just one station away from causeway bay which is great if you want to do some shopping. Hotel was generally clean, although the bathroom was really small and wifi was not free unlike other hotels. But overall, it was a great hotel with reasonable rates.

good size room but not convenience location

overall was good staying in the Harbourview Hotel, we got up-graded to a bigger room and the room was spacious , services was good and the staffs were nice, only the location of the hotel is a bit far from all the amenities. If go for MTR needs a walk bit distance.
