Location, cleanliness, service

None really.

The staff was the best part of the hotel, they were so nice and helpful. I couldn't ask for more. The room was very nice for the price. The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing. The restaurant was also a convienient place to get a quick breakfast. The hotel was in a very good area if you looking to do some bar hopping at night.

Nightlife Tip : Lots of bars and clubs within walking distance of the hotel.

Clean, quiet and a quick walk into wan chai

Taxi drivers get confused, bed is very stiff

I stayed at the Harbourview for a weekend before heading out on another flight. The location is very convenient if you're into Wan Chai night life, as it's a short walk away. The problematic issue is getting cab drivers to recognize the hotel, as they will *always* drop you off at the Renaissance nearby. I suggest getting the business card from the front desk, or your key jacket to show to cab drivers. The room is adequate size, with what is expected. The towels were actually soft, which is opposite to the beds - which are really stiff.

Restaurant Tip : The hotel restaurant has a buffet lunch on weekends, but otherwise make good use of the specials all around Wan Chai which are made for visitors

It located in Wan Chai District which made me easy to find way to dine

The lift is a bit small, just feeling not very good

The service was pretty good~! I used to hear a TV news that some hotels in China or Macau started to inplement the postponement of check-out time if necessary. I suppose the Harbourview can take the consideration. Overally, it is a good hotel with reasonable price. You can just walk 10 mins to reach the heart of Wanchai. Even though the hotel seems hidden in the city, it is worth trying.

Location, Clean

Tiny Rooms, Expensive Internet, elevators took forever, Noisy

Stayed at the Harbor View Hotel HK in October during a Trade fair. The hotel was just opposite the HK exhibition and convention center, so it was in a great location for people taking part in the trade fairs/conferences there. The rooms were tiny but clean and modern looking. So for the price, it is a good value hotel. However, be warned that there internet/wifi fee is ridiculous, if you need to get online better look for a nearby cafe with internet. Also, the sound proofing for the rooms are really poor, I could here ppl talking in the next room. I guess because of the relatively good value, the hotel also accepts large tour groups, so the hotel can get very crowded and noisy. Every morning I had to wait forever for the elevator.

Convenient Location, views of Victoria Harbor, reasonable cost

No early check-in, difficult for the taxi driver to find

I found the Harborview Hotel to be an excellent value for my recent business trip to Hong Kong. It is conveniently located in Central Wanchai and only a 5 minute cab ride from Cental Station and the Airport Express. Since I arrived early in the AM from the US, I would have preferred immediate occupancy of a room, but had to wait till after noon. Off site dining is easily accessable, as is the subway and local buses. Rooms were clean and the staff most helpful. Free WI-FI would be a plus. I highly recommend the Harborview and will continue to stay there as economical rates remain available.

Honestly speaking nothing...

Bathroom sink leaking and nothing done about it when it was reported. Give guests complimetary coffee and tea

The bathroom sink was leaking. We had a kettle in the room with no cups, no tea or coffee. The kettle was actually placed together with two glasses!! Even 3 star hotels do give complimentary sachet coffee and tea in the rooms. I am heading back to Hong Kong in a few days time and i will not subject myself to this hotel again. I will rather pay more money.

Very clean, best you can get. I get a room for two with Habour view, good quality I says. Friendly and helpfull staff, They look after my stuff for a day after check out for nothing. All staff speak good english. Nice view from the Hotel room.

Room a bit small with only one chair in the room. The bar fridge smell a bit when I open it, I think because no one have open it for a long time.

I am highly recommonded everyone to stay here unless you are looking for a 5 star hotel

Lcation, staff etc

None

Once again it is always a pleasure to stay at this Hotel. Cannot say enough about the staff and the facilities avaliable at the most competitive price in Hong Kong. I have no problem in recommending this hotel to family, business or solo travellers alike. Will stay again as prices are always competitive.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Access to all types of transport within a short walk. Ferry bus or MTR.

Nice friendly and helpful staff Good harbour view rooms Nice quiet location but close to facilities of Wan Chai

Rooms, esp bathrooms were a bit small but were more than adequate for our stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Harbourview. The staff were very polite and helpful and kindly upgraded us to a Harbourview Room which is well recommended. Rooms are a bit on the small side so it was great to have a view out onto the harbour, but rooms were clean and perfectly adequate and were tastefully furnished. The staff in particular made our stay as my husband got ill and they were very attentive in helping us. Location is nice and quiet which we liked but also within easy reach of the bars of Wan Chai and easy 10 mins stroll to the MTR, Star Ferry and Tram. It is also convenient for the Airport Bus (A11) which stops on the main road a few mins walk away (and over the airbridge for going back to the airport). All in all, for the price we paid this is a good hotel and we'd definitely stay again.

Very clean and hospitable hotel! Solid views. Good Value. Good location. Great stay. The staff was kind, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay again! Great location.

Minimal. The biggest con is that it is not immediately surrounded by excitement (i.e. restaurant, pubs, major tourist sites). However, this is a pro is you are looking for a quieter location.

Great Hotel. Very friendly staff. Clean and well equipped. Proficient English language speakers made check-in and out easy. Very accommodating. Rooms are clean and views are nice from high-floors.Close to Wanchai (which has ladies nights on Wednesdays! Very fun.

Travel tip : Close to Wanchai MTR if you go through Convention Centre. Ladies night in Wanchai on Wednesday.

Location

A bit humid in the guest room. Bath room very small.

I lived at the hotel during the Chinese Golden Week. There were quite a few guestes living at the hotel during that period. Generally, the services are very nice and prompt. Rooms are very neat but of course quite small, especially the bath room. Location wise, it is a bit far away from the nearest metro station (Wan Chai station), 15 mins' walk. But there are buses No.18 or No. 18P right in front of the hotel which can take you to Central within 5 mins. Also the ferry station is nearby, you can go to Tsim Sha Tsui at very low cost.

Very central, good for transport links and local night life. The high floor room has an excellent view. Room very spacious and the shower was excellent ( had a waterfall type feature)Would stay here again.

Check in could have been easier. When freinds called to speak to me the call was put through but my friend had a bit of trouble explaining who they wanted to speak to.

I enjoyed my stay in hong kong at the Harbour view hotel very much. The hotel was recommened to me by a family member who had stayed previously, and I was not dissapointed. This hotel would suit the business traveler as it is very close to the exhibition centre, but is also great for tourists as you are close to the night life and also for the NTR service, so you can travel to attractions with ut too much difficulty. If you want to see the harbour from your room ask for a high floor. I could see the harbour from mine but there are alot of other buildigs in front of you.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Buy a ticket for the NTR. Very reliable and good service.

Will be back. Guest Rating: 9.7

None.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times now and have always found it to be a pleasurable stay. The staff are very courteous and the amenities of the hotel for the price are second to none. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel to both business a holiday traveller alike.
