I was only here for about 5 hours but it was a decent experience. the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The only thing i didnt like was that it was noisy. i could hear people in the hallway and the opening and shutting of doors. Check out was fast so that was good.

- Clean and quiet room.
- Friendly staff.
- very comfortable and well supplied bathroom.
- Comfortable and clean bed.
- Ample wardrobe space and luggage space, inc room safe.
- Location can be difficult to find.
- Room service consistently failed to 'top-up'the basic room supplies, eg toiletries, towels etc. - But after calling room service and they were quickly brought up.
- Room is naturally dark due to proximity with neighbouring high rises. An excellent mid-range choice for travellers staying more on HK island. We stayed in early January for over HKD400 a night, so it was very good value. Although the hotel can be tricky to find initially, it is conveniently located, with plenty of convenience shops, local transportation, supermarkets, restaurant and bars. Our agoda deal did not include breakfast so we are unable to review the food served. However, upon passing, it looked reasonable.
Hotel Feature Tip : It is easiest to reach this hotel via the Fenwick street route.

Close to transportation, nightlife
good sized room Overall a great stay at the hotel. It's easy to get to the main roads via the bridges and is a quick walk to the Mtr and the trolleys. Great food is nearby. If you need things like water, groceries, there are small stores nearby which are accessible quickly. Coffee shops nearby with free Internet after purchase. You can hang out there and check emails and such before going about your day. Will stay here again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Plan places to go to which are close in proximity to minimize walking!

concierge, particularly leo and man, helpful and polite. room should as far as possible be cleaned up by lunch time as we want to come back to take a rest in a clean room before night activity, instead of being disturbed in the afternoon by housekeeping. hotel is convenient in terms of proximity to Central pier and has a good view of the harbour. likely to stay there again but hope to get better rate for being repeat customers.

booked months advance on Agoda so got a great rate for the holidas (NYE), efficient staff, very clean, near convention centre and pacific place a little bit dated, small, but expected for hk hotel rooms the harbourview is a good choice for short-term stays in hk. each room has a safe, tv, and minifridge. the washrooms are compact but the shower pressure is pretty good. the hotel is a little bit dated but is clean and fairly comfortable. the reception staff is efficient at checking in and checking out. looks like many tour groups stay here. location is pretty good - walkable to the convention centre and pacific place as well as other sites.

great location, our room had a great view of the harbour all good, nothing to mention staff were excellent, very friendly and happy to help. hotel is in excellent location. all of my requests i made when booking online were accommodated. we will stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : be sure you ask for the correct Harbour View hotel when you take a taxi. There are several with similar names.

Internet/wifi not complimentary and very expensive to buy Internet time. Very small room for the price and very small bathroom. It didn't feel that we were staying in 4 star hotel as this website ranks it It was in good location close to the MTR and some good attractions like bauhinia square and arts and expo centre. Easy to get to other attractions due to closeness to MTR.

convenient location
close to the victoria harbour Sound transmit through the walls The hotel is situated in wanchai close to the victoria harbour. Its a five minute walk to the ferry terminal where you can access to go to tsim sha tsui. Its excellent value for money and location is relatively convenient if you are familiar with the bus transport. The only disadvantage would be the 10 min walk to the closet MTR station.

Location, near Wan Chai (3-5 min walk).
Ok value.
Near Expo center. Some rooms announced with view are partly blocked due to neon signs, and are closly located to cellphone transmitters. Booked a premium harbourview room at the top floor, but the view was partly blocked by a neon sign at the neighbour building. Change of room was unproblematic with a quick call to the reseption, but ended up with a smoking room (hotel full due to holiday season). Smoking floor which i ended up with had a lot of people sitting with their doors open smoking, cousing the smoke to fill the hall and room. In evening the smoke was no problem.
They should not take full price for premium rooms with partly blocked views (over 60% of neon ;-\).
Hotell staff was nice. The concierge did not seem to be very informed about restaurants, shopping areas or bar area.
The hotel is located very near Wan Chai bar area, still the concierge claimed this was a business area and no shops or restaurants near by...think he must have had an off day.
Didn't try any food at the hotel, therefore gave it a 3. I will probably be staying here again on my next trip.

Has good harbor view of Kowloon & HK Convention Centre. Room size is typical of HK hotels size which is quite adequate. Quite a walking distance from nearest Mong Kok MTR. Approx 15min via network of skywalk. Mong Kok MTR nearest station is approx 15min walk by skywalk. Located right behind HK Convention Ctr make it a good place to stay if you have events there. Room is clean & well maintained generally.Air Cond is functioning well. HK Art Centre is located right next to the hotel.

near to embassies and walking distance to Wan Chai Star Ferry terminal and MTR. Nice hotel. Friendly staffs. I was upgraded to new refurbished room. My room has a nice habour view. The corner room is comfortable for 2.
Restaurant Tip : There are plenty of cafe within 5 min walking distance. There are not much restaurants option in the hotel.

The best point is near MTR making it convenient to move around. The rooms we stayed in were acceptable except the twin single beds were too small (two super single will be ideal).

location and lots of taxi when you need it only if you want to use MTR or ferry, you are prepare to walk but still possible excellent price that I paid and location is good, anyway I wanted to go it's only HK$20 away. nice.
Restaurant Tip : lots of resteruants and pubs around, 5 stars hotel outlet in walking distance.

convenient location, good service good value for money. good location to everywhere. From room, there is a fantastic view. The service is quite good as well. I enjoyed my stay. Definitely, I 'll come back, and also recommend it to other friends. I wish to have a large room next time.

Internet cost High and not freely available The Harbourview Hotel is in a great location in the District of Wan Chai. Easy access to all transport links buses, trams, Metro etc. For shopping there are numerous Malls close by and an abundance of good restaurants and drinking/social night spots. It is worth walking down some of the side streets to discover local street markets and local shopping
