All round solid hotel stay.

You get what you pay for. For this price you get a solid stay in a prime location. Nothing amazing, nothing poor.
Shopping Tip:
Best time to hit the markets in Tsim Sha Tsui is between 6pm - 10pm. Any earlier they are only starting to set up, any later and they start to close.

Fantastic location, and value for money

I have now stayed in this hotel several times. I keep coming back because it is a good clean servicable hotel in a wonderful location. Set behind the Penninsula hotel (probably the best in HK - although overpriced and over rated)you are a couple of hundred yards away from the Star Ferry in one direction, one of the largest shopping centres in Asia in another direction and one of the best shopping streets in another direction.

I just stayed for few days for business but everything worked fine at hotel and service worked very well. Extra plus to very nice staff at club floor with a touch of personal feeling! :)

Great Location but small room

Overall, the location is really good as the MRT acess is just in front of the hotel. The room is really really small, with 2 adult in the room, there is really no place to place the baggage and the walk way between bed and the wall is really narrow and the cost is not low as well. The money bought is only the location! It is only OK for a really short trip (may be 1 night)!
Restaurant Tip:
Teh food is really good in Hong Kong and you can find it around any corners!

Central location with small rooms

We have been several times to this hotel because of its position. The rooms are very small, but we could sleep very well. There are two breakfast areas. One in the 2nd floor, which is a very nice buffet and one on the lobby area, which is more or less nothing.

Not too expensive comparing with the location. It located center of shopping and food area. Also, have MTR transport underneath your feet. This is the best option for all Hongkong Shopoholic!!!

The Kowlon Hotel offers comfortable rooms, even though the rooms might be too small for some people. Overall the service is great, staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms also very clean. The coffee shop at the lobby area is quite okay, The best part of this hotel is its location, you can explore this area by walking to Avenue of The Stars, Harbour City Shopping Mall (very huge mall), Peking Road where they have lots of luxurious brands. There are also lots of local eateries shop nearby, not forgetting McDonalds and Pizza Hut store for fast take away. Ferry Terminal also very near, suitable for business traveller who needs to travel to neighbouring islands.

Perfect location on Kowloon side

I had a pleasant stay as hotel is very well located in Kowloon and despite the busy location is a very quiet hotel. Main restaurant tends to be quite busy but service is efficient.
Staff is polite and service is good.
When based in Kowloon, hotel is a great choice with good value for money.
Rooms are perfect for single traveller, probably small for couple with a large wardrobe.
