Bad service, poor housekeeping and outrageous internet connection price -- 100 hkd per hour
Only after many complains we were able to get the manager to get the maid to properly clean the room.
No vaccum cleaning, dirty towels and sheets, towell left on the floor, full garbage cans, etc.
The room air conditioning/ventilation system was noisy t the point that we could not get a night sleep.
Because the hotel is always busy, the management and personel does not seem to care at all and remained mostly unresponsive.
The price of a slow internet connection was 100HKD per hour so we had to go to Starbuck to check email.
I go to HKG often and this hotel does not deserve its reputation. After the Bonaparte in Wan Chai, this is the worst place I have stayed in HKG.
For the same amount i suggest you go the Lanson Place or the Regal Hotel in Causeway Bay.

Location. Staff friendliness. Service. Cleanliness
Comfort. Speed of lifts
Bathroom basin tap. Lack of mirrors in room.
The Langham hotel is situated in an easily accessible area for MRT and the Star Ferry, and is in easy walking distance to both Nathan Road and the shops of Harbour City. Our room was a generous size and the beds were very comfortable and clean. Outstanding service offered by a friendly helpful staff at all levels. The housekeeping and concierge staff in particular.
Shopping Tip : Make sure to visit the smaller shops in Cameron and Carnarvon roads, these offer good value. Also visit the Yue Hwa Chinese products shop in Jordan for authentic chinese goods.

Location, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff
The Langham was well appointed, clean, spacious and with comfortable beds and had friendly and helpful staff. The location was great as it was near numerous shopping malls, the star ferry terminal and also Nathan Rd. The sweet and welcoming fragrance of flowers in the entrance lobby made it a pleasure to enter the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : At 8pm dont miss the light and sound spectacular on the harbour as the city buildings light up.

Luxurious, beautifully equipped room.
Spacious lobby with evening music.
Great location 5 mins from Star Ferry.
Room a bit small, but so are all rooms in Hong Kong.
No loungers free at swimming pool.
The Langham is a lovely hotel designed and equipped in traditional style. The room was a bit on the small side (we were upgraded to de-luxe), but was well set out. There was no real view. It all felt very opulant. Location is good, a little far from the MRT, but close to waterfront and Star Ferry.
Hotel Feature Tip : When coming from the airport, get the fast train to Kowloon. Then, there is a free shuttle bus to hotel.

Arrive at the hotel about 2 pm was offered an upgrade to excective floor. We accepted, was shown 2 rooms and decided to take the suite as it had a king and two rooms which suited us because we were travelling with 2 children 14,3. We were told the rooms would not ready for 30 mins and was shown to the excective lounge to wait. after about one hour we were shown to our room but there had been a mix up and we had been given a single room. When we told them that it was the wrong room, we had to wait another 2-3 hours before we finally got to the room we requested.
The staff were very sorry and added free breakfasts for our stay and a bottle of wine, fruit basket, a toy for our child and a letter of appology from the manger but at the end of the day we waisted the complete afternoon. Other than this problem everything else was ok. Furnishings are tired and in need of an up grade. Staff on a whole were friendly.Breakfast and food room service was below expected for a 5 star hotel.

Very good location with excellent amenities.
Room service food was good but cold!
The booking process and confirmation was easy. The transfer information from the airport to the hotel and return was accurate and easily understood. Chek-in formalities were of a very high standard.
We found the room and associated amenities to be first class indeed. The service matched our expectations. As stated the only thing that let you down was serving 'cold' food to our room.

Location, the ipod docks in the rooms
not enough sockets in the room for my PC and gadgets
This hotel is ideally placed, a short walk to watch the sounds and light show, to grab the star ferry, or to get to the shops. Spolied for choice my nearby restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and cool - exactly they way i like them. The presence of an ipod dock was nice as it meant I could listen to my music without headphones, and without using my PC. Its a place I can thoroughly recommend, and which I'll be using again. I didn't eat in, or use the bar, but they looked very good too.

great drinks in the lobby, staff very good
the rooms is abit small, no view
we stopped for great drinks in the lobby, staff very good. the music was top class. the lifts are abit slow but everything was very modern, flat screen TV, nice big tub. the thing we noticed was the lovely ginger lilly smell in the entire hotel as you walk in...it makes you feel relaxed instantly and the breakfast was out of this world, room service was very fast and they cooked our eggs perfectly ( even had chilli sauce) which we love)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : star ferry over to HK island is a must for everyone

Professional staff, clean rooms, convenient locations, best for shopping
This hotel is conveniently located to all the good malls and shops. The rooms were beautifully furnished and were well kept. The hallways were designed with art in mind. I appreciated the the old black and white photos that decorated the walls. This hotel definitely made me feel like i was staying in a very upscale hotel!

Very clean, great staff, perfect location, very well maintained
In room dining is very poor
Great location with exceptional standard hotel and very helpful staff. Let down by the poor in room dining. Rooms would be very expensive if not booked through agoda. The in room dining was so poor that we never took the risk of using the expensive restaurants. The Main Street Deli is good quality and part of the hotel. Overall a great hotel let down by the in room dining and I also expect free wifi not HK$150 for 24 hrs.
Also HK$18 for a bottle of Vittel is ridiculous.
Restaurant Tip : Buy snacks in the 'City Supermarket' in Harbour City, 5 minute walk from hotel.
If at the top of Victoria Peak, use Hong Kong Day next to the entrance to Madame Tussauds in tram building, do not be put off by basic appearance, food is good and low cost.

Very clean, beautiful furnishings. strategic location, posh and modern interior design and decor
Prior to staying at this hotel, I didn't realize that it was a member of "one of the world's leading hotels". I was quite impressed. The hotel and the rooms were beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and most of all it was very clean.

The Langham is a beautiful and elegant hotel which does everything in a five star manner. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is excellent.
There is nothing I don't like about the Langham.
We stayed at the Langham on our last trip to Hong Kong and loved it which is why we chose to go back again. When we checked in, they told us they had upgraded us to a premium room which was a wonderful surprise. The staff are lovely, always friendly and helpful without being annoyingly attentive. The room was tasteful and elegant whilst still being extremely comfortable. The location is excellent with great shopping, eateries and amenities all within easy walking distance. Every time I go to Hong Kong I'll be staying at the Langham.
Restaurant Tip : There is a wonderful chinese restaurant just near the hotel on Canton Road called The Chinese Garden. It is such a popular place, it is always full because the food is delicious and very reasonably priced.

The lobby and its atmosphere;attentive staff;good room;very convenient location
depressing outlook on to an office building
The Langham is perfectly located a short distance from the Star ferry and major shopping facilities around the Ocean Terminal. It is equally convenient to Nathan Road and the MTR, making travel to any part of Hong Kong easy. The hotel itself is a typical Langham with an attractive lobby and well furnished and spacious rooms. It has a top Chinese restaurant and good attentive staff. A great place to stay.
