Modern and nice design, great experience.
clean and spacious(by hk standards) room, free wi-fi, complete home & office it/ audio-visual system in the room.

comfortable bed, nicely renovated and well maintained hotel overall.
the mira hotel room has a fantastic computer/home-entertainment system - for work, general use and entertainment (bose system for audio, and sony led tv with vaio computer) - so cool.
it was a personal trip (vacation) and was caught by last-minute request to work without a laptop, the system was really helpful. secondly, was able to follow news at home through the internet system (since not covered in any of the several news channel) downloading on-line news content - excellent.
hotel facet was renovated maybe two years ago, maintained just as new.
Shopping Tip:
Along Nathan street, you get good deals during the sales season, especially when the stocks of the new season arrived. Bought two pairs of Lloyd shoes at 40% discount!

Hotel with a difference

I have half expected that Mira would be a different type of hotel from the way I view the features online. It's like a cross betwwen minimalist and funky design....features.
What sets this place apart is the ease of checking in and out, polite staff from entrance to F&B, competency in English ( not a given in HK!) It's a whole new experience!
I'll be back.

Lan Kwai Fong is a must go at night

mira's hotel rooms are great with high-tech equipment and features embedded into the standard
functionality of all parts of the room--nice large tv with a sony multimedia-center base that
works interactively with the tv for personal/business use and other multimedia functions such as
dvd player, radio and tv-style internet browsing. connecting your computer or mp3 player
(iphone, ipod, itouch, etc.) works wonders as well. location is also a great plus for the hotel as
its centrally located right on nathan rd close to great shopping (new isquare shopping center),
restaurants, and entertainment establishments. can't beat the overall experience for the money

Five star hotel but zero star service

Low effiency ,check in & out using more than one hour.No explaination on the long waiting time.
But the hotel location is good, convience.
The design of the hotel is good ,small hotel but fully utilize space, but no indication for level in lift car.
Restaurant is ok for both service and food.
Gym. And swimming pool are good too
Nightlife Tip:
Walk out the hotel ,you can see the nightlife of Hong Kong

The bell desk took 90 minutes not sending my luggage to the room. After 3 reminders I collected it myself.
Staff directed me to a restaurant that on arrival I was told had been closed for the night because of rain? It was a clear night. Strange.
The spa has a water leakage problem that seems to require major renovations.
The chocolate corner served delicious chocolate snacks>

we loved our stay at the mira. the rooms are beautifully designed, and the athmosphere at the hotel is enchanting, especially at night, with a different female singer at the hotel bar every night. the hotel is a 3 minutes walk from tsim sha tsui subway station, so its location is very convenient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
fa yuen street market is the best market for really cheap clothes.
if you are buying a 3 days subway ticket, don't forget to utilize the 10% discounts for the big budha and peak tram, and of-course get your $50 deposit back before leaving hkg.
