Do not go to this hotel
breakfast was amazing, lobby good staff very helpful when there is an issue
6.3
the room we got was shockingingly bad, i was disgusted to stay in there. big security staying there. i had the do not disturb sign on, cleaner goes in room, cleans room, then takes my room card inside room on wall holder, never brings it back. i had to play investigator, finally i find katherin the cleaner, she said oh sorry i forgot your card with me. taking the card from her i find out the old card still worked and anyone could have had access to my room, i never experienced a hotel like this before. also must mention after we fought with the hotel they did give us much better room. i do not need such problems in my business trips.
Shopping Tip:
Amazing elegant shopping, for all budgets

Royal Pacific Kowloon
Location near Ferry Terminal
5.7
I chose this hotel due to proximity to the Ferry Terminal, but rooms are small, dirty and poorly maintained. I would stay away unless there is no other option.

I stayed at the same hotel a few months ago and had a much better quality room (probably more expensive) but certainly worth it as the quality of the Tower room I believe is below par.
Shopping Tip:
Nathan Road is nearby for shopping but beware soem vendors are not the most honest.

good location for sightseeing and shopping
good location, close to best shopping area, subway close to the hotel
8
location is the best feature of this hotel. easy access to the best shopping area, to subway network, to ferry to macau and there is a nice green area which is kowloon park.
breakfast wasn't included, but worth it
room was of average size and clean, but no access to internet and this is what bothered me most.
staff in the counter should be a little bit faster, there is always a line forming there, and it shouldn't happen considering there are 3 to 5 people working.
but in general, good hotel and i would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
easy access to ferry and tickets to macau from the underground of the hotel.

Super tiny beds
location close vicinity to malls and restaurants
5.3
we chose this hotel because of its location, but we were disappointed when we saw how small the room with very little room to put our luggages.
my brother & wife who had a 9 year old with them had to make do with 2 tiny single beds because we couldn't even place an extra bed in the room!
Travel tip:
location is perfect for those going to macau on the ferry...the port is in the same building as the hotel

Room was a bit small, but that was no great problem. No queen size bed, only two singles. I ended up pushing the two singles together - didn't really work.
They put me in a room overlooking the busy Canton Road and the dawn chorus of traffic noise started at 0630. I feel they were a bit cute in allocating this room to a single traveller. I ended up using ear-plugs, which did the trick for me.
I think the hotel was short of tip-top cleanliness - the rooms need some refurbishing. Exempted from this criticism was the room cleaner: she was wonderful.
On balance, I think it would've been better to have paid a bit more and gone elsewhere.
Nightlife Tip:
Very good location - a short underground trip the bars in Wan Chai. Plenty of good value restaurants near the hotel - try The One Mall on Nathan road, upper floors.
