Review of Royal Pacific Towers
The location was good, near to the shopping centre

I stayed there for 3 days. The services was very basic as it was more for the location. The hotel is fairly old but situated at a convenient place to get around. Just 5 min walk to Harbour City, the big shopping centre. however, my room was opposite to the housekeeping room so there was a lot of disturbance.

Good location and easily accessible. Hotel staff are friendly. Only problem is the wireless internet which can be a real pain. Good thing is that they have a cable available in the room for a connection via the wall port. Will definitely stay there if I next visit Hong Kong.

Hotel location is good, it is only a 5-8 minutes walk through Kowloon Park to Tsim Sha Tsui Station and directly next to China-Hong Kong Ferry Terminal where you could set off for Macau or Zhuhai for a day trip.
The hotel and towers are obviously old buildings. But you can tell that they were once grand. The room and T&B are spacious although the shower partition was a little cramped. The carpets are old but clean. There was no free Wi-Fi .The food at the cafe were great and cost only HKD100 per head for a buffet breakfast.

within the same building as the ferry terminal to China, Macau. Next to Harbour City Shopping Mall and 15 minutes walk to Star Ferry.

For those who wish to travel by ferry to Macau or seaport in China, this is the MOST convenient hotel you could get. Big shopping mall next door and star ferry is 15 minutes walk away if you wish to take a "romantic" crossing to Hong Kong. Highly recommended at night when the Victoria Harbour and whole of HK skyscrappers are all lighted up.
Travel tip:
Plenty of shopping and restaurants everywhere !

Royal Pacific Hotel Hongkong
The hotel is near my favorite places to shop like the esprit outlet, fortress and gateway mall. It is connected to the terminal going to macau. Near mtr TST also.

I stayed at the Royal Pacific Hotel from Feb 25 to Mar 2. This is the fifth consecutive year that i booked in this hotel because it is very near the places i go to in hongkong, especially the shopping centers.. It is very near the mtr and all the food places that i go to, especially silvercord fastfood and fairwood. When i checked in the last time the room was quite smelly and the aiconditioning was not working. I asked to be transferred to another room but they had to wait for the confirmation of the technician that the aircon was not really working.. I was eventually transferred to a non-smoking floor which was what i initially requested to stay in. I thought they would have been more apologetic since i have stayed in their hotel for the last 5 years. But overall my stay was ok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You may want to browse through the magazines about hk found in the hotel room. It has a map and a review of food places and tourist attractions and how to get there before you venture out.

Arrived in Hong Kong after a very long day of flying with a warm welcome. Our room was on the larger side with a sitting area, but needed to be updated on the decor front. Some of the carpet in the hall/entry area was threadbare and generally looked a little tired. We enjoyed the breakfast on each of our three mornings. The walk to the star ferry pier was a little further than advertised, but a nice walk through the mall if you like to shop.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is located right on top of the ferry terminal going to macau or china. Aside from that, it is also right beside the harbor city shopping complex! this is also close to the MTR station. The only thing is, the room needs a little updating and renovation. But other than that, its all good.
