they were wonderful and redeemed themselves from previous visits to the hotel

we have stayed in this hotel quite a few times over 2009 and had issues each time we stayed. however, they did a great job of correcting the issues. the issues were due to uncleanliness, construction noise, inability to have rooms ready by the check in time. in attentive housekeeping staff. but we will definitely continue to stay here in the future.

we often stay at this particular hotel and even now use it for colleagues and clients, this visit was with a colleague who was in hong kong for the first time. he stated he would not change anything about his visit to the hotel. he is back in hong kong again this week and will actually be staying there again, so as usual, a great overall experience. this hotel has a fabulous location in the heart of kowloon so great night life and shopping is within walking distance.

This is my first time staying here. The lobby and common areas seem updated but the rooms, though clean, require the same updating, especially the carpeting, which absorbed all the smoke and smells.

This hotel is good for family vacation due to good location for shopping, transportation is very convenient to travel either in HK or to Macau or Mainland China. The Metro is just around the corner( 5 minutes walking distance). You can also enjoy variety food around the hotel area.

We stayed here for two nights only in one the newly renovated smaller rooms. Be warned - these rooms are very small indeed! Fine for one or two nights but would be claustrophobic for a longer stay. The larger rooms are much better if you like a little elbow room.
Staff were mostly courteous and helpful especially a young lady named Shannon at reception who kept her cool and her impeccable manners when things went slightly twice during our check-in - problem solved quickly and efficiently!
This hotel is very well placed to go shopping, near to the Star Ferry if one wishes to cross over to HK Island and right next to the beautiful Kowloon Park where one may enjoy flowers tree and birds in a peaceful oasis after busy city life!
The Cafe on the Park ( main restaurant) was singularly unimpressive but as one is surrounded by many other choices it does not deter my staying there.
Nightlife Tip:
If you enjoy trad jazz, visit Ned Kelly's bar after 9pm. Food is also good for Aussie fare.

Rooms are very small and simple....romms could be more modern and building need some redecoration since is very old at the corredores. Breakfast is chinese style and very simple. After all, is a nice place to stay. Prices are OK and I would stay again.
