Big hotel room and bathroom, good food, location.
No possibility to put on the door label: do not disturb to do cleaning later.
It was my first time to buy hotel services through agoda.com. Despite of usually given good and very good descriptions of different hotels in different sites I have experienced several times disappointment of that described hotel does not correspond to the given expectation.
In case of agoda.com and The Royal Pacific Hotel and Towers I can say it is very good website and hotel, with very good service (both) and food (hotel). Also it is need to be mentioned that the location of the hotel is very suitable for people who like shopping - many shops and big shopping centers are nearby.

The price was very low compared to a few months ago.
Long check out line (around noon).
I was able to land a great price for my one Saturday night stay. Compared to the price I paid a couple of months ago (through Agoda), this was a no brainer. The buffet breakfast was better stocked than before. The room on the 19th floor was clean and the air conditioner worked perfectly. This was a blessing given the very humid weather.

excellent price; good location especially for guests going to/from macau; attention to guest protection from AH1N1 virus; good promo price for buffet breakfast at coffee shop.
room maintenance needs improvement particularly air conditioning, toilet; front desk lady was discourteous
We had a terrible time checking in. The first room assigned to us smelled of cigarette smoke. We were transferred to a second room within a few minutes, but the air conditioning system was not working and the curtains were unclean. We then asked to be transferred again. The third room was finally acceptable, except that the air conditioning system was not as cold we expected, and the toilet water closet did not flush very well.

Ferry terminal to Macau is just downstairs of the hotel. The ferry terminal complex has some shops including fast food such as MacDonald's and KFC. It turned out to be very convenient.
I booked 2 rooms and requested the rooms to be side by side. However the rooms were at the different floor.
Hotel is located in the busy city area, but need about 10 minutes walk to reach MTR station or Staf Ferry Terminal. As a tourist, the 10 minutes walk was quite fun as I can experience the lively atmosphere of Hong Kong. If you are planning to catch a ferry to Macau, this hotel is the best. In 3 minutes after check out the hotel, you'll be @the ferry terminal!
Restaurant Tip : There is a food court in the ferry terminal complex. I had porriage for breakfast there. It was cheap and very yummy. Highly recommended!

it was a welcome treat to have fruits and drinks on arrival. in a place where drinks are expensive compared to our country, the complimentary freebies while one has'nt gone shopping yet is indeed a very positive treat. the place is classy.
i feel the people at the reception cater more to the businessmen rather than the tourists. they never bothered to inform the guests that there are many attractions behind the hotel. we missed the avenue of stars and the skyscrapers with all its lights at night my children were marvelling about during their visit last february '09. for which they billeted us there.
the hotel is spic and span in its cleanliness and services. i find it very convenient to have the asst manager directing your questions and needs with just one button anh at 24/7, the man behind the phone is such a big help. the special breakfast buffet at very reasonable price gave me and my sisters(first time travellers) a satisfying experience in a five star hotel. i enjoyed guiding my relatives in their first trip abroad and they really enjoyed their trip.
Hotel Feature Tip : spend time in learning about your hotel. the amenities, the attractions nearby and explore the building. we learned about the shops on our way back to macau when we booked for the ferry. little did we know that we didn't have to walk the long stretch of nathan road, canton road and nearby areas had we explored the hotel facilities first. i was shopping and guiding my siblings in the hongkong of the 80s and 90s when i first visited the territory.

Accessible to a lot of things. You go out of the hotel, and there you go, you are in the shopping street -The Canton Road. It's also just a three minute walk to the nearest subway station. You go down to the ground floor and there is the ferry terminal to Macau and China. There is also an overpass connecting the hotel to the park. Overall, the hotel is pleasant and convenient
The wireless Internet is expensive. Free Internet access would be nice.
The staff were accommodating. The room was stuffy, but well-cleaned. I think they need to put some air freshener to remove the stuffy smell. It is quiet inside even though it along the streets. Also it uses thick curtains to block the the sunlight. It is a big hotel but there are many elevators, so going down and up the high floors are fast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Follow the Canton Road and at the end turn left. You see the ferry terminal and a nice view of the Hong Kong, especially at night when the lights are on

convenient booting since suring MTR only 10 minutes away, and surrounded by harbour and also shopping center
There is actually two type of rooms for standard double bed, but the new furnished type is way smaller, not comfortable at all, the old one is just old, and found marks on carpets.... you would not know by simply looking at the web site or asking the front desk. But service is OK, just you need to wait for quite a while each day if you need to check out.
I guess if you are looking a place that is convenient for taking ferry you can choose here, or you want to shop around all expensive brandname you can pick this place, since the price OK, but not very comfortable housing. On the other hand since MTR is convienent I would choose other place to stay in.
Restaurant Tip : there is a food court just around coner if you walk you way to nearest MTR, food is cheap, I would recommend the tai noodle and also vietnam noodle taste quite good at the harbour where the hotel is at. There is also cheap steak house around the street from hotel, quite cheap and meat cook quite right but only two sauce for selection, I would recommend it since a lot of office personel dine there.

Location near Beijing railway station, Staff spoke sufficient English
Hallways smelled and room odors. These could be improved by staff.
The hotel is located near the Beijing railway station making it a very convenient base to explore the city. Amenities such as convenient stores, Henderson mall, and banks are nearby. However, the hotel itself (other than the lobby) is beginning to show wear. The walls are thin too. Expect a 3 star hotel not 4 stars as rated.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : To get from the airport just take the airport shuttle bus to Beijing railway station. The hotel is nearby.

- friendly staff
- Convenient location in Canton Road, close to popular turist area, Kowloon waterfront, Alley of Stars, etc.
- ideal for those, who want to go to Macau as ferry station is just one level down from the Hotel lobby
cannot think of any right now
Royal Pacific is a good bargain and is definitely worth the money you pay for it - excellent location, decent rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant. Just cross the bridge, which runs from the hotel - and your are in a very nice Kowloon garden with flamingos and other birds and fountains, and other pleasantries. And just a 10 minute's walk form the hotel along the Canton road and you are at the waterfront from which you can enjoy wonderful views of Hong Kong island and famous Symphony of Light at 10 pm. And for shopaholics - you have a good chance to go bankrupt in the numerous boutiques in Canton Road!!! So, start saving! !
Nightlife Tip : Knusford yard - good nightlife place

location, location, location
affordable
nice view from our room
accessible via airport express train & shuttle
quiet
elevator goes up to the 22nd floor only (there are 23 floors)
I specifically chose the hotel because of its ease of accessibility to the Airport Express. I was not disappointed. The train and shuttle bus took us straight to the hotel doors.
Once there, check-in was easy. I was assigned to a room on the 23rd floor, which promised a great view. BUT, the elevators go up to only the 22nd floor and guests had to walk up the last floor.
The rooms are clean and well-made. The lighting in the room certainly gives the room ambience. Even my daughter enjoyed the "pretty room".
Though the TV offered many cable channels, there were no children's channels. There is also no pool so the only conclusion is that the hotel is really not designed for children. It is more than adequate for adults...but not kids.
The hotel is also near Kowloon Park which is a beautiful place to visit. Shopping places, Ocean Terminal and the Star Ferry are also near by.

- Location
- Business Rooms Nice
- Hard to get a taxi
- Hotel is a little old
The hotel is located very close to Beijing Road. It is within walking distance of many different shops and restaurants. Perfect for shopping! The standard rooms in the hotel are old but the renovated business rooms are quite nice. The hotel is about 45 minutes from Baiyun International Airport. The hotel is also not far from Gong Yuan Qian subway station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't forget to take a look at Haizhu Square and Onelink Plaza. It is the perfect place to purchase all of your gifts to take home. Don't forget to bargain!

- Convenient!

- Good Service
The hotel is located directly on the China Ferry Terminal. It is within walking distance of the bay and subway stations. Just a short 10 minute walk to see the laser show at night. The hotel is clean and modern. Rooms are quite spacious and the staff is friendly. Everything that you need is within or close by to the hotel.
Shopping Tip : One of HK's largest shopping malls is located right next to the hotel. Although a bit pricey, you can find almost every famous brand.

Good location
Great buffet and very friendly staff
The room I had was looking very tired and rather dated especially the bathroom. The carpets needed cleaning
Probably just about worth the room rate but I am sure at the moment there are better hotels with rooms to spare at the same price.
