Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Excellent location but a bit old
6.7
room is a bit small, but its fine in hk. the facilities are old, including sheets.
however the location is very convenient to many places, you can go to 尖沙咀 旺角 by bus easlity at nathan road.
mrt is just 3 mins walk from hotel, bus stop 2 mins, supermarket and 7-11 only 1 min far.
one of the receptionaist is helpful, howver others seems not familiar with hk that much.
wi-fi excluded is an disadvantage.

Good location but so so rooms
Good location, near Yau Ma Tei MTR as well as some good eating places.
6.3
Travelled with two other person. Took a family room which has a double bed and a single bed. The room was of a reasonable size unlike some other hotels in HK. There was enough room to move about and to place our luggage. The room was reasonably clean and came equipped with a water boiler as well as a small lcd tv. The staff were quite helpful although they were not exactly very friendly. We planned the trip at the last minute and this was one of the cheapest accommodation we can find without going for a hostel. However, i am sure if you planned your trip earlier, there may be better choices out there. The hotel is rated as a 3 star hotel, but i think it is closer to a 1.5 - 2 star. Overall, the stay was tolerable but i am not in a hurry to go back.

Location good. Walking distance to Temple Street night market. Ladies Market ad famous Michelin dim sum eating house is less than 10 minutes walk away. No lack of eating and shopping places. Quiet and safe at night.Family rooms is a big plus. Staff friendly and able to speak English. Toilet and aircon in good useable condition and comes with the basic amenities like towels, toothbrushes, soap and shampoo. Free wireless internet connection is a bonus.
Nightlife Tip:
Good nightlife at close proximity

It was great! the receptionists were very accommodating, they even lend us those sockets for we can charge our phones and cameras. They made sure we are comfortable, the room is clean and well managed, if I will travel to hong kong again I will definitely come and stay at the salvation army booth lodge and I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.

Great location but room quite old. Air-con too old
Walking distance to Yau Ma Tei
6.7
the room is big but quite old fashioned. air con is old style type - unable to adjust temperature and have some noise after running some time. need to switch it off and turn it on again. no door bell at the room door. but good thing is this hotel is tidy and clean, easy access to yau ma tei, and mtr. no restaurant in this hotel.

I love this hotel becuase it is very cheap but very clean and tidy. The room is very largh. And the location of the hotel is very convenient. It is neat to TST which very fast and easy to take train to go the city shopping centre. The hotel is out of my expectation.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a janpensee restaurant nearby which is higly recommended。
