The South China Hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly, the place is tidy and neat. In fact, it is convenient to get to the hotel by all kinds of public transportation such as MTR, bus, mini bus, even taxi. There are some events being held in the hostel which provide some kinds of entertainment for guests. It is convenient to get to the shopping centre in town like Causeway Bay, Wanchai, Central. It is also convenient to go to Mongkok for site visit and shopping. There are lots of nice place in HKG and good restaurant in town.

The hotel was located near the MTR station - north point. Plenty of resturants sound and a stone throw from central. 15 mins by taxi to LAN Kwai Fong . If you ar going to Hung hom rail station, then you are in trouble. No Taxi wants to go there due to the traffic jam. I took the MTR to admiralty and cross the crauseway to TST and walk to east TST station then took a one station stop to Hung Hom

As the hotyel staff check in have smiling; with have good service standard ; nice to tell me how go to the guestroom ;but the guestroom havent the bath tub and refrigerator temp not cool.
Shopping Tip:
good location ; and good traffic ; etc; MTR ; bus and van, many shopping shop near the hotel, and the taxi also too take over with most big shopping area, easy go to taikoo anad causeway bay, overall the easy to find the large shopping area.

it's a budget hotel so the price is very reasonable in the city. it's not close to subway (mongkok) but it's cheap to take a taxi to anywhere since it's right in the middle of the city.
